I had started this topic before but can't find it...but I have an update about release dates..

For those like me who have not had the chance to see this, but are dieing to get to here is an update:

The site has announced a wide spread US release will begin this spring or summer for a special midnight showing. Also, it will be in San Antonio TX April 6th and at Milwaukee WI and Columbus OH April 13th.

It has been in the US in late 06 but only in select theaters...

Thanks, nurse.

I have about a million pairs of 3 D glasses so I'm already equipped for what I hope will be a gore and cheese fest deluxe.

Anything that is even in the root of Romero's Dead Series is godly

I would so go...my other half wouldn't. Went to the Alamo Drafthouse the last time they showed Rocky Horror...I offered to go by myself (other half is a fuddy duddy when it comes to dancin the time warp) but someone insisted on coming along...couldn't thoroughly enjoy the experience!
Wish it would come to the Alamo...can't go to regular theaters anymore without comparing...5 dollars for an all day baked hotdog when I get can nachos con carne with salsa for the same price...and drink a beer if I want too...and not have to deal with teenagers giggling and playing with their cellphones!
I'll have to go to the website and check out if it's coming to Houston.

Saw a dvd at Best Buy today called Night of the Living Dead 3D. Think it was from 2006 and starred Sid Haig. Said it is an updated 3D remake of the original classic but Romero had nothing to do with the film. Comes with four pairs of 3D glasses. Anybody seen this movie? If so, any good?

I am always leary of remakes, and even more so of remakes in 3D!!

Beware! Beware!

I'll have to go pick it up now that you've mentioned it! I love a good 3D film (sorry deathboy, but I do tongue.gif )
