First off, I love this channel...most of the time. Those Chainsaw Massacre sequels tend to show a bit more on the schedule than my liking, but hey, I'm sure someone else thinks its great. (although "Return to Horror High" which shows up a lot, I won't even bother with)
I was thinking about all the exciting directions this channel could go, when a rather obvious one occurred to me. How about a late-nite horror host to provide witty, and smartass commentary to go with the movie. They always added spice to Saturday nights when viewing TNT's "Monstervision" and USA "Up All Night", with hosts Joe Bob Briggs and Rhonda Shear.
The mini-Friday the 13th marathon that happened earlier this month was nice, but not as good as TNT's Friday the 13th marathon from '98, with Joe Bob Briggs. That's been put up on youtube.

We've discussed the idea of a late night movie host. Hopefully Chiller will pick it up. Chiller is doing great considering its start. It's movies are more and more diverse with each passing month. I kind of wish they would play the old Universal Studios movies again like they did in the beginning though.

I was not sure where the appropriate forum for this topic should go.....Anyways, could Chiller play more horror movies and less of these Friday the 13th, tales from the darkside, Freakylink...stuff. I am wondering if they have the movie selection to choose from? Its not that I dont enjoy these from time to time, but everyday! Can we get some more horror movies? Please. People are going to get bored with Tales from the darkside everyday. Friday the 13th....that show gets old quick. Please play some more movies (horror). I have a feeling this thread is going to get whacked. Let me know where these types of posts go please. I am not trying to rock the boat to much, but really can we get some more horror movies: The Burned, Slaughter High, I Drink Your Blood, motel hell, hell night, phantasm, chud, raw meat, the slasher, madman..etc...Its a horror based channel...play some descent horror movies.

I agree. I was really hoping for more classic horror movies and tv shows....."Profit"?? "Twin Peaks"?? They're okay shows, but horror? I don't think so. I would hate to see "Chiller" go the way of the "Sci-Fi Channel", with wrestling and Anime......geez.

I've been *****ing for a horror host since Chiller started. Won't stop until my late night Fridays and Saturdays are enhanced with a horror host that we all enjoy!
the thing i wish they had more of are the horror films that you dont see on tbs... you always see "IT" and"childs play"but what about"hellrasier" and i really hate that everything is edited out too its a horror channel...we want to see blood!!!!. also in the opisit direction... Im really surprised i have not seen an episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark" that show used to creep me out when I was a kid. and how about playing the old disney stuff around holloween just to change things up. Im almost 27 and i still love to watch"Ichabod Cran and the tell of the headlesshorsman".

I'm not sure who holds the right to "Are you afraid", but they'd have to be negotiated with in order to get the show. I don know they are available through Amazon in Canada. As for edits, there's a thread in the website section (I think it's still there) explaining why.
