This leg of the journey also includes a trip to one of the man made wonders of the world - the Hoover Dam - where the families compete in The King of the Road challenge. AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL– The families pack up and leave the Meteor Crater in Arizona and snake their way through the hot desert to the Grand Canyon. The families experience the Meramec Caverns, a classic route 66 attraction, where the outlaw Jesse James once hid. Then on to Branson, Missouri where they perform skits in front of legendary stars Andy Williams and Yakov Smirnoff.
