'The Papers' were ready. Mimi couldn't believe that she was holding her past, present and future all in one small envelope. Her other future was in 'another' envelope. Miriam Lockhart was a woman of power and wealth now. With or without signature it all was hers and hers alone. Neither Bonnie or Shawn would get anything. She took few more long steps before stopping at door. They all were waiting for her though they didn't know it. Belle, Philip and Shawn were argueing about the babies and about Claire. Mimi heard it all through the door and smiled. She knew who was acting and who was truly terrified of the truth. Mimi had been there but no longer. She opened the door and stepped in.

'Glad that you are all here', she started her speach but stopped. There was a fourth person in the loft. Someone she had not heared or expected to see.
'Rex?'
'Mimi.' His voice and face were blanck. Mimi almost gave up on her plan and backed down. She almost turned on her heels and ran out the door. But she didn't. Mimi felt her spine growing and getting stronger. She didn't love Shawn and she wouldn't hide behind him anymore. Mimi kept her eyes away from Rex and handed Shawn the envelope and asked him to read and sign the papers. While Belle looked her like she had just lost her mind Philip went to get something. Mimi smiled at Claire and waited the inevitable.

Shawn had finally finished reading.
'You want a divorce?' he asked and looked at Mimi. Mimi noded.
'Why?' Shawn had the nerve to ask. Mimi held her tongue untill she had organized her thoughts.
'Why? You're still in love with your high school sweetheart who is married. You cheated me with her. You value honesty but don't seam to know what it is and when you hear what I've been keeping from you, you'll throw it to my face. And by the way you are the father of both of your exes children. Is that a reason enough for you?'

Belles mouth was wide open and Shawn was still between tears and laughter. Philip winked at Mimi. He had the custody agreement ready and he reluctantly gave the papers to Mimi. It was like he didn't want her to leave. Shawn took a pen and was ready to sign but something stopped him. He looked up and and saw something between his best friend and his wife. No, it all was his wife. Mimi looked radiant and Shawn felt possesive. He turned and looked at Belle. She was silently celebrating. Belle would soon have both of his men with her. And Shawn felt sick.

'No. I won't sign', Shawn said firmly. Mimi didn't exactly react like Shawn had hoped.
'Let's do this the hard way then. But know this, I'm not your wife anymore.'
'Shawn! You have to sign. She lied to you, she lied to us, she kept you from your child!' Belle cried. Rex burst out laughing and Philip couldn't keep quiet either.
'Now you are willing to believe her?' Philip asked his wife sarcasticly.
'Don't talk to Belle like that!' Shawn defended her.
'Stay out of this. This doesn't concern you!' Philip shouted at Shawn.

Mimi snuck away. She wasn't in the mood to listen her 'friends' fighting. She turned to close the door behind her and became face to face with the love of her life. Rex wasn't about to let her leave without him.

Every day I come here to vent and to de-stress. It seems as if no matter what thread I come on to, the Shelle Lovers attack me. I don't know if you guys get that feeling. Just because I like a character who has done something wrong, they treat me like s***. It is our right to have freedom of speech and if I don't like Belle I should be able to voice my opinion without 1,000,000 people jumping down my throat! Do you guys get this? Even if it is not a belle-lover thread? It could be totally unrelated and everyone just wants to fight about Belle vs. Mimi!

I hated Belle when she first came on. I want Mimi with Rex because Shawn acts like a dumba** and is not good enough for her. The lovers can say whatever they want but Mimi never cheated on any man, and that cannot be disputed by little charts or dreams about Zack or anything.
When I joined a message board, I never thought I would be so emotionally involved! However, this is the storyline I have become passionate about. How can people say Shawn does not love Mimi at all? And the way Belle treats that fine hunk Philip....what the he**? I want Belle to go down more than anyone on the show. I even like KATE more!!

i know how you feel, but not so much lately. things have cooled down. i was ambushed by the marlena lovers when defending sami and stating that marlena isn't the best mommy... and let me say this: belle/shelle lovers have nothing on marlena fans. i was crushed in matter of seconds/posts

they made the whole thread about something else in few pages and they attacked me, not just my opinions but me. that's mean and doesn't belong in the board JMO

and i think mimi deserves better than shawn
