Sorry but you two are so cute in your posts to each other. Although dunno if I'd want to be present if you were in the same room. I don't think I would be able to breathe from laughing. Talking about us? I`m grinning here, because I can respond to Naydi by the grace of the time I have to process what she says and getting to re-read it and then think about a response. Seriously, I think irl her talking to me would sound a lot like Chinese, only with me understanding the individual words *huggles Naydi* You put my English skills to the test so bad I swear... -------------------- If I could look beyond your face And photograph your hidden place Would I find you smiling in the picture? Of course there is... You are the most self-abusive, perfectly clear English as a second language user I've ever met!!! ***Oops! EDIT: I mean take the new episode BROADCAST break after the new year - not the shooting break. ----- *hugs* Seraph Due to a lack of on topic-ness, I`m gonna watch some tv and go to bed. I've just wasted two precious hours of my life watching 007 Casino Royale. Is it just me or that movie sucks? I'm confused, because I read good reviews about it, but, in my opinion, everything after the opening credits (interesting animation and music) was a bad joke. The unrealistic and way too long action scenes, the nonsense plot, the lack of dialogues (I seriously think the script is 10 pages long tops), anyway, it was so ridiculous that at one point the whole thing started looking like comedy to me, and I burst out laughing during a scene that was supposed to be dramatic. The whole movie theatre stared at me, those people must be saying right now: "some crazy woman cracked up when James Bond was desperately trying to save the love of his life"
I was wondering if any of you saw it, and whether or not you liked it, I'm inclined to think that LOCI fans would hate it, due to the "boobs and action" approach. |

Haven't seen it, and probably won't. I just don't see the new guy as Bond-ish at all. Don't know what all the fuss is...Thanks so much for the heads-up so I can avoid it like the plague! What I do want to see is "The Good Shepherd" with Matt Damon. If anyone has seen, can you post? I'm lucky if I can talk my husband into going to one movie a year, and it's usually relegated to a Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler sophomoric comedy (cringes). -------------------- In New York City's war on crime, the worst criminal offenders are pursued by the detectives of the Major Case squad. God bless you, rowe! There were some moments of pure joy and some sharing that I thought might be completely gone due to the necessary cleaning up of some of the threads - how cool for you to move them into here... Anywho, keeping with the thread 'topic', check out this story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20061218/od_uk_...uk_italy_mirror The things that we don't even know we're taking for granted!!! You're welcome, Naydi. Some of those conversations were so uplifting and fun, I couldn't possibly have deleted them. I'm more than happy to keep them. I'm a pack rat...a neat one, LOL but a pack rat nonetheless --- I will never delete anything unless it's absolutely abominable and in violation of the NBC rules yadda yadda yadda. Question: is the new James Bond hot? He certainly doesn't look it, but I've heard that he's very sexy in the film. Your opinion on that?? I was a little "Oh, I can't believe Pierce Brosnan is gone", but the new James Bond is okay. Not drop dead gorgeous, but he's better than I expected. He is really well-toned (they strip him naked in one scene and you can tell he worked out A LOT for that role) and very athletic (he runs/jumps/fights 2/3 of the movie). He doesn't do it for me, though, maybe because he lacks the intellectual factor. The movie is 2:24 long, and I can't remember what he sounds like, isn't it weird? It's all about the action. Ridiculous, unrealistic action. I can't believe this movie is a box office record, I think people are going to see it just out of curiosity about this new guy. Trust me, ladies, you'll be better off watching "Happy Feet" |

Hey I vote we put VDO in the next bond movie ! Who's with me ? The only problem is, if our dear VDO was in iminent danger where he had to run from let's say a bomb explosion or something, he would never make it to safety in time. Last night, I taped an ep of CI b/c I went out. So I got home, watched it and went to bed.... then I dreamt of CI....it was w-e-i-r-d...
It was like watching the show and being in it at the same time (as more of an observer). It went something like this: Police all in the squad room talking. Goren, Eames, and Ross in the interview room. Someone at the entrance of the squad room screams. Cops all run out to see what's up. Some guy's got a bomb stuck to him. Goren yells "look out!" Everyone ducks or jumps behind their desks. Goren jumps behind a pillar (no idea where that came from) and the bomb explodes. Scene shifts to Goren talking to Eames, telling her he has to make sure she's still fit for duty after everything. Then for some reason, they start to spar, throwing punches and all of that. Punches were flying and being blocked, then Goren starts doing round houses and kicking and Eames barely gets out of the way then he starts doing flips....the middle of the floor drops away and a railing circles it so they can see down to the first floor. Goren jumps from one end of the railing, flips through the air, and lands on the other railing. He tells Eames "If you can do that then you're fit for duty." And that's about it.... I have NO idea where that came from but when I woke up I actually believed it was a real, new episode of the show....and no I'm not on crack. -------------------- A wise man never plays leapfrog with a unicorn.

Hmmm, I like this topic. We can talk about whatever the he** we want to. I get vivid dreams too alli, I always have. It's good when it's about something good, but when it's a nightmare, man does it suk, and I'm not on crack either
This topic is great at a time like this when they haven't shown a new ep in soooooooooooooo long, especially now that we have half the shows with our man than we use too. I can just sit here and nag all day if I wanted to, couldn't I? Well can't think of anything else now, but I'll be back mwoooaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhahhahhhahahha. Vurtgirl -------------------- |

Off Topic Comment: I am NOT DONE with my Christmas shopping Yeah I just started last week....because I never know what the h#$% to get people...except gift certficates but that's a last resort. Last week I bought 2 people's gift in one day which is practically a miracle for me...then this past Sunday, I took my mom shopping and got everyone else's gift (except my mother's of course). It was weird, I spent 3 hours shopping and just knew what to get people. I already know what to get my mom too so on Friday that'll be what I'm doing all day. Buying that last gift and helping my dad get a clue about what to buy people. I have a friend who did shopping in October and I don't understand. People sometimes still buy themselves things around then so those crazy people could end up buying someone a gift that someone already bought themselves. Or what about release dates for cd's, dvd's, computer games, etc.? I suppose they just ignore it if people want one of those things... Me, I'm definitely someone who only starts shopping from Dec 7th and on...and I always get it done. -------------------- A wise man never plays leapfrog with a unicorn.
