Thank you very much for all your hard work Mod Peachy, that was really a bad way to start the day for you. We really appreciate you and Mod Rowe and all the hard work you do for us. Thanks also to Supreme Mod NBCSkampy and the IT dept. for their hard work too. I had no idea what had happened until I saw a thread devoted to the drama on another board (listed in the main page here) when I signed in. A few people are always trying to ruin things for everybody, it is such a sad part of human nature.

All of the NBC message boards were attacked late last night and this morning by some posters who posted vile pornographic images. Our board was hit. There were at least 6 new threads started by two/three Spam posters, some of the disgusting images were also posted in one of our established threads.

I've never been so happy to have and use a delete button in my life. I couldn't get rid of the vile stuff fast enough. Thankfully, the majority of our members never even knew it was on our board. And I thank the members who alerted/reported the problem to me. The spam attack happened while I was sound asleep.

Spam is virtually a loosely based version of a troll.


with the exception in emails were they either could bombard you with these porno images
or viruses.



So in essences someone looking for trouble .

Some of the things on my list....
Quickly and efficently put out any fires that some numbn*uts accidently starts.

Apply pressure to any gaping wounds that some numbn*ts create on their hands and arms while playing around with fireworks.

Eat some good stuff off the grill!!

Sit in my hammock chair and just chill!

Hey all! What's the deal with the new sreen that pops up when you try to get on the board? It took me forever to finally geton, and I still don't know how I did it! Anyone with a clue?

It's happening to me too. Instead of the CI 'home page', i'm getting the Law and Order home page instead. I just clicked on the 'boards' link and navigated from there. Annoying i know but i'm sure it's just temporary

We don't celebrate Fourth of July here though my daughter is going on a school trip that day

Right now i'm sitting watching the rain pouring down, we've had a lot of torrential rain and flooding here this week. Still waiting for some actual summer weather I hope its nicer where you are

The fourth of July is my mom's birthday! We just barbecue and in our subdivision, people go crazy with the fireworks! We just sit out on the deck and watch!

You never know about the weather around here! It just came a good thunderstorm about an hour ago. I just looked at the weather channel, and it's goning to be in the 90's next week and high humidity. When it's like that, there's usually a storm blow thru in the evening. Who knows?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. People are stupid. Why would anyone want to do that?
Geez, at work we deal with enough idiots and this just adds to the idea that the world is full of stupid people. Someone the other day was on the phone with a colleague (who was doing Inbound calling about the guy's credit card) and the guy threatened to find her and bury her alive. Yeah...thankfully he had no idea what her name was or where we're located.

Luckily though this board has tons of great people on here who restore my faith in humanity.

Thank you, PeachyBC for deleting them. I saw them early Friday morning and wondered what was up. Since no one has even viewed them I just stayed away figuring they were spam. Didn't have a clue there were pornography. I was away for the weekend and noticed they were gone when I came back. Thank you, again.

I'm getting the new screen, too. The other day I couldn't get on the NBC board at all. It said it was temporarily down. The first I got on with the new one it took me a little to get back to where I could get on LOCI. It is a little irritating, only because it takes just a little longer.

We haven't made any plans yet for the 4th of July. Probably will have our in-town daugher and family over for a BBQ. Will also take mom out of assisted living facility and bring her over. Just a nice day to relax and have the day off work. Not sure yet what the weather is going to be like.
