Almost forgot to mention this....though I might post on another topic too.

Go on Youtube.com and type in "law and order muppet style" ....the last few seconds with the 'chung chung' is hilarious.

Well, at least now we know where the "chung chung" went this season...Sesame Street used it all up.

Muppet Law & Order laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif . Very surreal blink.gif .

Edit: sort of related to the Gorillaz: assuming you know this one.

You, my friend - Rock in so many different levels that I can't even count!!! I was going to stick to Damon Alburn and link Girls and Boys, but am seeing that the video sucks a**... So how about this instead?

...and now for something completely different

and one for kermie and all his rocky mountain friends...

Ohh, I turned down the radio for that (is a big charity thing going on here, all week), Interpol is cool! You gave me download ideas smile.gif.

And the Muppets....oh they better show the Muppet Christmas Carol again this year, otherwise it`s not Christmas!

I have inspiration for some other music links, but no time! Need to gather my stuff for tomorrow otherwise I`ll forget half of my things. Maybe later smile.gif.

*pouts*

I had inspiration to put two things up....something from a Dutch band, and something from Pulp....since it only made sense to do so. Not a big fan though, they`re fun, but that`s it for me...The dog bark is weird hahahahahaha.

DOH! sorry... ph34r.gif

But in keeping with all the d'mn scary coincidences, I'd actually just come back to edit my post to ask you to put up some local music when you had the time [ ohmy.gif !!!!??!!!] Last thing I've heard from remotely close to out your way was Husky Rescue's Summertime Cowboy. Not enough to make me dive into them (just as Common People wasn't enough to make me go whole hog into PULP [again ohmy.gif !!!!??!!!]), but I love hearing stuff from other countries.

Oh and, my being a Cocteau Twins fan from way back, don't worry about necessarily just looking for stuff in English... wink.gif

Hehehe, well, the problem is that if you don`t understand Dutch or even German, our language sounds pretty d.amn awful to outsiders I believe. There`s one band though that makes Dutch very pretty. Anyway, I always think we have good bands so just quick some stuff:

Kane Please don`t look at the singer hahaha (English)
Blof It`s a little soft, but I love them. There are going to record this song in English as well, the title means "Proposal without rings (Dutch)
Blof & Counting Crows And yes, the lyrics make just as little sense in Dutch.
Krezip They can rock really good as well, but this is a nice ballad (English)
Ilse de Lange Is a bit more country than the rest. (English)

Anyway, this is who I thought of just quickly, we`ve got loads, but the problem is that with a lot of stuff it`s just a shame to not know what they are singing.

End of my promotion of Dutch music laugh.gif

For me it's Mickey's Christmas Carol (1980's version). I saw it last sunday while wrapping gifts. It got me totally in the mood for Christmas! I was so excited.

Now I just need my new fav. Christmas movie fix...Karrol's Christmas...

Although, I do enjoy Rizzo in Muppets Christmas Carol...but I could do without all the singing.

So, I've only been a member here for *counts* not quite two weeks yet, and already I'm leaving. Well, we college kids get 3 1/2 weeks off for winter break, and today's my last day in the dorms. Normally I wouldn't go all sad.gif for this, BUT as of right now, we don't have net access at home, which means, no more talking about LOCI with you guys. sad.gif

Have a safe and happy holiday, and don't forget about me!

See ya in 2007 cool.gif (unless I get lucky and my mom got the internet connected...but probably not dry.gif )

Awe sweetie, savor your time off, and we'll all be right here when you get back. It'll seem all too soon when you do get back, watch laugh.gif . I really hope you have a wonderful time with your family and a lovely holiday.
See ya when you get back,
Vurtgirl smile.gif
P.S. Sometimes it's good to unplug. It takes some getting use to cause we're so use to having info and access to everything at the tip of our fingers, but I really think that sometimes it good to just unplug and relax. Especially you being a college student and having all that work on your hands as well. As I said, savor you time off, and we'll all be right here waiting when you get back. smile.gif

Have a great vacation at home, jordan. You won't be missing much here, at least not until the next new Goren/Eames ep. Then, you can always catch up on the discussion! Take some notes while watching so you can share your opinion & observations with us when you come back! Hope you & your family get to spend some quality time together doing fun stuff. Maybe you can talk some friends into having a VDO Day with you & visit Chelsea Pier area for a sighting! That's what I hope to do with my daughter one day over the break biggrin.gif

You said it DonnaLucy. That's a perfect Christmas classic. That's exactly what I thought of when I was reading about this here. Of course there are many others, but I love that one mucho. I always think of the Charlie Brown tree whenever I see any trees that are kinda slim, or deadish, and during my favorite holiday, Halloween, it's the Charlie Brown great pumkin patch I think of. biggrin.gif
