QUOTE I've started a "Classic BWalter" writing file. Whenever I need a pick me up, I can open the file and be guaranteed a great laugh. PeachyBC We should start a separate thread - a la favorite Goren and Eames lines - and save these gems for posterity all in one place. We could call it "Down the Rabbit Hole with B" |

Glad I was able to dig up the quote for y'all.
Sort of still on topic, I have been toying with putting together (yet another) fansite for our dear VDO. If you've looked at my profile, you'll have seen I have a fansite for Christopher Walken which I launched in 2003. It was a labor of love, even though I haven't religiously updated it over the past year. I would like to give VDO a similar treatment, with everything (well, as close to it as possible) in one place. I suppose if you guys think it's worth it, I might actually embark on it. I'd hate to do it just for my own personal pleasure. DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Wait, I think I've read that somewhere before. Never mind, it was my first reaction, and doesn't it tell you something, Rowe when when you you get so many crack-of-the-whip fast resposnes to your proposition?
Lovd the VDO quote, too. I'm hoping that he gets offered some A-List parts to which his own personal twisted magic gut responds. At least he's said that he's not going kill any more women in his movies (thank you to daughter Leila D'Onofrio for suggesting that he's done enough of that). -------------------- Lady BWalter Smythe-Plantagenet, Venusian sponge diver

Yes, please! Pretty please! Pretty please with whipped cream and Bobby Goren on top.
Um. Well. You get the idea. I would definitely like to see you give this a whirl, rowe! (and thanks for the congrats - the new moniker sorta seemed to fit). |

I, actually, don't really care if he takes his career to the "next level" or keeps doing what he does as long as he does it somewhere that I can ACTUALLY SEE HIM do it. ...I would HATE to see happen is for him to fade off into obscurity or to make a move into more cached forms of acting such as repeats of the film short that we all have yet to, and probably never will, see or acting exclusively on the stage. In those arenas, he might find a way to be pretty happy, but, for me as a fan of not unlimited means, it'd suck! Yes, exactly. Lest anyone get the idea that I have VDO's best interests and recognition at heart in wishing him upward film mobility, let me set the record straight. I am thinking ONLY of myself. The residuals from one LOCI episode alone will keep him Escalades for the rest of his life. I want him to take on bigger and better roles for ME. It's all about me. (when it's not all about Naydi). -------------------- Lady BWalter Smythe-Plantagenet, Venusian sponge diver

Loving' that pert little silver chapeau, Cvl. Very fetching. You may want to rethink the peacock feathers.

God, there is nothing, NOTHING, as good as a captive audience. They have to be polite, and that's more than you can say for your average cocktail party crowd. If you post enough self-indulgent crap ( I had typed 'carp' here - interchangeable, really), they'll have to use words like 'lambent'. Shallowly shallow, and proud of it.
If you really want elegant lambent wit that survives beyond fleeting topical **** , though - wit with actual depth, yes, and staying power! - you'll save Cvl and Naydi as a thread. It's a class act. Hello all my sweet friends here on the CI board.
It's been like a day or so that I haven't been on, and I feel like I've been gone forever. I miss you guys...lol.. Rowe, mama, are you keeping your sanity in tact? Cvl, are we still going to Florida to see the Bears game? Who's paying? Tell me Naydi, how is your studying going? When will you be taking your test? Oh and when will you be doing your strip speach? bwalter, you know I love your writing, but OMG that was great..so funny I don't know if I was crying from the laughter or from hurting my back from laughing too hard...Bravo, Bravo Rowe, Seraphina, Donnalucy, How is everyone handling the dry spell? How many Tuesdays left till a new ep? The one after this one? Will it be a G/E or a L/W? Don't you guys feel like we're being gipped this year with this once a month new ep if we're lucky thing? I will usually watch SVU as well as CI on Tuesdays, and I've missed the last, I don't know, 4 new eps of SVU cause I get too annoyed to go over to NBC on repeat days, or, as last week, President talking XXXX(I won't go there Man It's after 1AM, and once again, I'm the only one left on the board....haha I think I'll lurk around for a while longer. Hmmm, where are all you oversea friends, b, aren't you in Sydney still, and Seraphina, how about you, I know you're across the world? I would think that some people would be on in the night. Ok, ok, I will find you guys tomorrow. Oh, and don't forget b, I get a percent of the profits from the topless Naydi gig, cause I'm the one that came up with the idea of filming her, Cvl came up with the topless, but still, you know, I deserve something don't I? I mean, topless without video, wouldn't bring the dollars in like topless with video, right? I gotta make some money somehow guys! Vurtgirl -------------------- |

Now, I really am obsessed with cops. Earlier this afternoon, I walked my way back to the parking lot. Suddenly, I heard a WHAM! Before me, I saw two cars banged into each other. They were three steps away from me. A few more walk, and then I’m a goner. The drivers were both females. Luckily, no one was hurt. Out of curiosity, I thought I’d stay and wait for the police officers to come, so I’d take a good look on them. Too bad I had other plans, so I left.

Rowe, Seraphina, Donnalucy, How is everyone handling the dry spell? How sweet you are! Yes, this dry spell is a killer. God, what will we do if they cancel the show entirely? I mean, repeats are great to discuss, but it's not the same as a brand new episode. I believe that Albatross with Goren & Eames is the next new ep & is slated for a week from tomorrow . It can't be soon enough. This board will sure be humming at 10 pm on February 6th . |
