I found this cast call tidbit the other day. The casting call went out 12/27/2006, so the episode shoot has already happened. I don't recall seeing these twins in any episode so far, do any of you??

Here's the casting call blurb:

"Law & Order Criminal Intent" is looking for African-American twins that are between 6 months and one year for featured extra work on the next episode of LOCI. We prefer boys or at least girls who can pass for boys with the right wardrobe. It will be shooting in the beginning of January.....

Huh? Was there a Logan/Wheeler that involved people with a baby? The twins thing could be misleading, though, cuz don't they usually look for twins for infants in order to avoid violating child labor laws if multiple takes are needed? Hmmm - Looking at the park scene in Privilege, there was one black woman who went by in the background pushing a stroller, but that episode aired on the 9th... Would they have still had scenes left to film that close to airtime? This is a good little mystery....!

Never in my life have I had the flu... s'Part of, well, is the reason why I had to practically have my arm twisted in order to get a flu shot this year "for the good of the public".(<--EDITED; would have been nice if I'd orignally said what 'one' was, huh?!! gaaaah...) Nevermind the fact that not one of the geniuses trying to lay on the guilt trip could tell me just What in the H'll the Difference for the public is between my body being able to fight off flu strains on its own all these years and my body being able to fight off flu strains on its own after being briefly introduced to last year's? Either way - the incubation period in which there are no symptoms will still be there; therefore, if anyone's going to catch the flu from me during the incubation period while I'm without symptoms while my body successfully fights the bug off - they've no less chance of catching it if my body's fighting during the same period after having a shot!! So whyyyyyy are you trying to force me to mess with my body's tried and true a**-kicker of an immune system?

Ah well..... getting it shut them all the h'll up, at least...

no way nay .I hope you don't catch it's nasty when you do get it mom caught it just after we moved two years ago and it was just to the front of the complex long story . . and it just feels like i might have it.lol
more than likely just have a run of the mill head cold .

You have a good point there underlined.
and Yes I am up cus I do'nt want to sleep yet.lmao

Like Naydi said, twins cover issues of child labor laws. Twins also double the director's chances that one of them will be awake/happy, asleep, crying/awake - whatever the action calls for.

Now, there was that featured extra baby in the Logan episode where Mikey quite literally was "left holding the baby". Can't recall which ep it was, but I do recall everyone cooing over Mikey's adorably awkward attempts to make the baby smile. The baby wasn't dark-skinned, more cafe au lait if anything. Maybe the baby in question, though?

Hey Cvl, Peachy, you two charmers! VENUS! And here I thought for sure someone would suggest The Crab Nebula as the most appropriate celestial affiliate for me.

Nay, hon, now that they've convinced you to take the shot, do you think they could explain to me why this harmless dead vaccine that can't possibly produce illness in a normal healthy adult somehow puts me in the hospital every year with suspiciously flu-like symptoms that everyone stubbornly refuses to call the flu?

That new show on NBC "Black Donnellys"...it has two people that were murderers on CI. Connie (from sound bodies) and...whatever his name...the murderer/brother from the ep "wrongful life". Yeah, i didn't actually watch it. Did you know the real Black Donnellys was Canadian? From Ontario... yeah, Paul Haggis (director of the show) is Canadian.

It's weird to know the family's history and see it made into an American show.

What do YOU do...

...when watching LOCI (and other L&O, if applicable!) reruns?

I did not start this as a new thread (partly because I wasn't sure whether the concept of not paying undivided attention to LOCI was offputting ohmy.gif!). Although I love/am addicted to all three shows, particularly LOCI, I am simply incapable of watching any TV programme without doing something else.

So, this is what I do:

- smoke (sometimes at the same time as I...)
- knit (my very DH jokes that I should credit the actors of L&O ... which... gasp... he dislikes in all three versions!!!). Here is a photo of the latest endeavour, measuring about 58" x 58" (the measure of my addictions!): Curve of Many Colours *

I managed to finish this in just over three weeks, fuelled at least 50% of the time by L&O and Diet Coke (and probably given heightened energy and creativity watching one actor in particular... guess who?!)

For more info (not LOCI related) drop by my blog (non-commercial)
http://knitwitsvengeance.blogspot.com

I would be interested to know if there are others who double up on watching LOCI and other activities... there are just not enough hours in the day (that is, if I want to stay employed and keep having money to buy yarn)

Tina

I did. D@mn near the enitre cast has been on at least one L&O! The actor's pool in NY must be getting ridiculously small.

In addition to Billy Lush ('Connie' from "Sound Bodies" and ITWSH), the show starred Keith Nobbs and Tom Guiry ('Kevin Colemar' and 'Marcus Randolph' in the Season 5 finale, "The Good" - and Guiry is again playing a guy with a bum leg); Mark Margolis ('Mr Damiano' from "Fico di Capo", who was also on the Mothership and Oz), Ned Eisenberg ('Danny Sussman' on "Shandeh", who has also been on the Mothership and SVU); Jonathon Tucker ('Drew Ramsey' in "Wrongful Life"); Chris Bauer (who's been on the Mothership); Kirk Acevedo (Trial By Jury, SVU, Mothership and Oz); and Richard Petrocelli (SVU and the Mothership).

There was also an actor named Joe D'Onofrio, but I don't think he's a relative.

Small world, eh?

I did. .....

I'm too angry about the whole "temporary" replacement move to give what's there at 10p Mondays any form of chance. Petty? Yes. Justified? Makes me feel better to think so.

Happy B-day, Seraph! So, now that my 19-year-old nephew is stationed overseas, do you want me to send him to you for your birthday? (He's not too bright, but he's good looking and has a lot of stamina wink.gif )

Well, I can be totally shallow for a while, so if you want, send him my way biggrin.gif.

Thanks for the congrats everyone. I`m 22 now biggrin.gif . And we have a birthday song, a few actually, but we have our song to the same melody as one of yours (happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...etc) but then in Dutch and we sing something similar.

Anyway, I`m off to get ready for yet another day biggrin.gif.

Bob & Tom did a bit about this. They figure just across the state lines there are stores doing a booming business in fireworks, beer, and sex toys. Kinda makes you think about moving... laugh.gif
