I can't believe it's almost Christmas Eve. It won't really feel like Christmas Eve until about 12:01 tomorrow afternoon (I have to work in the AM). -------------------- ![]() Thanks, Darth! |

Oh dear! I'm sorry! Do you just get to kinda lounge around because it's Christmas Eve?
It won't feel like Christmas Eve until 6 pm because that's when we open presents. Not a minute before 6. Mr. PL is irritatingly firm on that point. |

Sorry about your dad, Hottest. Hope he can come home soon. A harp? Wow! (Where did they hide that?) He didn't end up going today, but he might tomorrow or on Christmas. I have no idea. I saw the box in the basement a few weeks ago and thought nothing of it. Silly me. The slept more so under it when it was a real tree, I think they drank the water too from the tree holder Sammy, if a ferret can hide a phone, tampons and ipod, a Harp is easy for a ferret to hide! Ahaha, nice. I'm sure they asked them for good hiding spots! I wanted to buy this for my ferrets today for Christmas, but it's way too expensive:

Oh dear! I'm sorry! Do you just get to kinda lounge around because it's Christmas Eve? I'm going to have to find a way to look busy. I'm sure I won't have much work to do. I ran out of work mid-afternoon Friday and our mail probably won't be delivered tomorrow until just before it's time to leave. I'll probably try to sneak on here a few times. -------------------- ![]() Thanks, Darth! |

So I made 3 dozen sugar cookies today and tomorrow Super Sammy can decorate them to her heart's content. I anticipate sprinkles everywhere.
I've also spent the past week, especially today and yesterday, putting together my Dad's present. He mentioned to my Mom awhile ago that he'd love a collection of all the family genealogy stuff I've collected on his side of the family. I've got documents, pictures, census pages, wills, birth and death certificates, family trees, oh, and even more pictures. So I'm organizing it all into four chapters, one each for each of his grandparent's lines. Then it's all going into a binder. I'm including extra copies of everything, because he loves sharing this stuff with random relatives that come over to go fishing with him. . . . . it's more stuff than I realized. It'll be down to the wire here. |

A quick tip for easy clean up is to put the cookies that she is decorating on to a cookie sheet and whatever spills is contained on the cookie sheet(if the sheet has sides) I learned this the hard way a few years back |

My mom and I spent the entire afternoon making homemade chocolate chip cookies- I'm guessing around 3 or 4 dozen. Then after that I made Christmas bark- not the white chocolate and peppermint kind though. It's made out of saltine crackers, brown sugar, chocolate and pecans. It sounds a bit weird but it's so good and it doesn't take long to make at all. -------------------- |

My dad picked me out a harp. That is amazing! I hear the harp is one of the most difficult instruments to play, and I can understand why. If you get really good, I might consider letting you join my band. It's been fun, it's what I used to be obsessed with before I discovered The Office, and all of you. Isn't it strange that we all had normal lives and friends before we all met? -------------------- |

I found out my violin shop around here gives lessons though, so i'm going to start that. Hopefully i'm not horrible at it. I'm making a funfetti cake for Christmas Eve lunch and my grandma coming over. I'm tempted to write "Happy Birthday Jesus!" on it. Hmm... -------------------- ![]() |

I took a little time this afternoon and watched both of the Christmas episodes of The Office. I hadn't seen either episode in awhile so it was fun to watch them again.
Now we're getting ready to go to my grandma's house for our big family Christmas eve get together. It's always fun. We usually end up playing some game like Mad Gab- I think we're doing Catchphrase this year. Then tomorrow my dad has to work at the fire station so we're going there for a Christmas dinner. It's the first time he's had to work on Christmas Day in a long time so it's going to be kind of different -------------------- |

My kids asked what they should leave for Santa to eat All that talk about Santa and vegetables here and we got home from Tom's aunt's at 10:30 and by 11:00 Jay was snoring, after I read him Twas The night Before Christmas. He totally forgot about leaving Santa anything! -------------------- I've actually been thinking that for a long time, and I'm glad I said it.

We open everything on Christmas Eve. I got a new BED from my parents and my brother got me a Digital Photo Frame. Pretty flippin' sweet. I didn't know they were so expensive though.
My friend Tyler gave me a talking Office Christmas card it was awesome. Anne gave me a box of chocolate covered starbucks coffee beans and eggnog coffee flavoring Lauren gave me 101 Things You Should Know How to Do Sandi gave me The Real Sex Kitten's Handbook Anna gave me a journal Andrea and Andy gave me a pretty photo album Some lotion and an ornament from my secret pal at work Some new clothes for me from me! And even more the day after Christmas Not sure what Leslie and Erica have for me. We haven't exchanged yet. I know that Erica got it in Hawaii though (she's there on vacation) and I'm excited to see! -------------------- ![]() |
