I keed, I keed. I think I make LA out to be worse than it really is because I base all my opinions of it on the post-apocyptic sci-fi movies I saw as a kid. That, and when I was about 7 or 8 they had this really bad series of quakes out there, and everyone from California moved to my little town. We went from something like 15,000 to 200,000 people in something like 5 years. I didn't like any of those d.amn people and therefore, I do not like LA. Even though my screenwriting professor told me today that I have to go to LA, I kind of want to just be like Stephen King. You know, living with a bunch of malformed weirdos in the forest somewhere. I'm not doing a good job of keeping my mouth shut, am I?
Yeah...

No! She has brown hair, and she's never dyed it blond, and they still haven't burned her! ohmy.gif She does have a reallllly nice rack though, so that may be what's saving her. lol, like I'm seriously jealous, and I'm amazed that my boyfriend wasn't drooling over them when they were right in his freakin face. Ok, she IS his aunt, but still, those are the nicest boobies I've ever seen! If he and I have kids, I honestly hope they inherit that from her. laugh.gif

Remember how we said maybe someday we can live in NY together? And obsess over Late Night together? Well this forest of weirdos idea sounds even better. As long as we have a TV. happy.gif

Yes, remember that Conan headed straight for L.A. once he was done at Harvard--so unless you want to produce Broadway theater exclusively, or work at L&O, L.A. will be your destination...

Would you believe that I am so anti-LA I've actually considered just forgetting about writing as a career? That's how much I hate the place. And I'm such a hypocrite because I've never been there! I don't know what it's like, all I have are a handful (ok, encyclopedia-length volume) of bad experiances with stuck up barbie doll wannabes and some movies that show LA in a bad light. Not exactly the best way to form an opinion of a place, I know. And not fair, either.
The only thing that I have that keeps me here besides my utter hatred of LA is my knowledge that I'm honestly too d.amn old to break into the business. (Both of these things are actually excuses designed to mask my fear, but that's really something for a licenced shrink to figure out.)I should have figured out what I wanted when I was 16. I didn't, now I'm screwed.

Did I mention I'm a cynic?

PS - Thanks, Ellen! My fingers are crossed, too. (No change in booking status, BTW) sad.gif

I know, their current "system" is such a pain in the @ss. And Sev called everyday for like 2 months straight to get a ticket for Thanksgiving and missed the 1 day they booked that show, which is totally unfair. They're in desperate need of organization and innovation in ticket booking, and I think we're the right people for the job. cool.gif

Absolutly we are!! We would clean up that joint! Comeon NBC, get with the program. You are a major network. Get organized!!

I am (failing at) moderating this message board alone, and it has really become too overwhelming for me to do by myself. Please respond in this thread or PM me if you would like to be a mod. It's not up to me to choose, but I will forward your info to the admins.

THANKS.
