NBC has not confirmed anything like that, there is nothing like that on a press release. Can you post a link please? The fact it was removed shows it probably was just posted by someone who thinks that might happen. Too bad they can't get their dates or facts right. Oct 29th is a Sunday, LV is not on that day, and it's not against 24 anymore. That alone shows the person doesn't even know what the heck they are talking about!

Oh then sorry for the false alarm. Thank God it isn't confirmed to being cancelled. Sorry people.

Hey guys,

I was just over at a LV site and they said that in two weeks LV will either be cancelled or renewed. They have a campaign to keep it on!

Please write!

Online petitions like this never works. Write to NBC, the producers etc instead.

Let real, no amount of letter writing will help this show. it's over. NBC put in on Fridays which is the graveyard for the shows the want to kill. Not good enough this show was the only one to last in 2003 against Raymond and Monday Night Football. They just used it when all of their other shows failed and now hid it on fridays and gave it a shorted season.

Now they are pretending they might give it a long season? Yeah right. They never had any intention of renewing it past the TNT amount of shows needed.

Too bad it's no NBC, it should go to cable like HBO where the stupid prudes won't censor it and also where they actually appreciate hit shows.

Just fact it, it's over, and not even a good series finale, a horrible bunch of awful cliffhangers. sucks!

NBC never appreciated this show

Why do we need to write if it has good ratings? They are going to kill it, they decided that by putting it on dead fridays.

I believe the show was moved to Fridays to build momentum for NBCs crappy Fridays. Also, the NFL refused to allow NBC to air commericals for Las Vegas. Why have a show on Monday, if you cant advertise it? 88 shows was required for TNTs contract, if this season ends at 17 episodes then they will be 1 short. Las Vegas was not the only show that was cut to 17 episodes this season. Law & Order, Crossing Jordan, Medium I think, it was a bunch of different shows.

Plus, NBC has wayyy too many shows that are failing miserably right now.
Apprentice, 30 Rock, Grease, Medium, Crossing Jordan, Friday Night Lights, Studio 60, basically every other show on NBC isn't doing so well. So if NBC cancels Vegas, which, I have no idea why they would, would be pretty stupid.

Friday is the way the put shows to pasture. The don't advertise the show now, so what is the difference if they had it on Mondays? I never see promos for the show. I never saw such a lame explaination as it not being able to have one night of advertizing when they don't even promote it now. They showed the crossing jordan episode out of sequence, it's just like they don't care one bit about it at all.

Also, they have new dramas to put on, so they don't care. LV takes a lot of money to make, Friday brings in low advertizing dollars, so they put it on there knowing that.

They knew what they were doing and they will can it.

When you said new dramas, did you mean Raines that got their production cut short? What other new dramas do they have? Black Donnaleys or whatever?

The only show this year, that NBC has that has produced anything is Heroes. Every new scripted show has failed. How long can Deal or No Deal, 1vs 100 keep NBC afloat? Look at ER, it barely passes 10 million viewers now. Thats slightly higher than Las Vegas and Vegas's main viewer base is on Fridays. Theres absolutely no reason for Vegas to be cancelled. Althought it might, it'd just be plain stupid. As someone else has noted, that Fridays ratings overall have improved by 30+ percent from last year to this year. So maybe NBC does have a plan.

Every year, we've gone through this conversation and yet its still here.

Umm they have new pilots for the New fall season coming out. New dramas. LV is done. They want us to beg for it to stay on and make fools of our selves when they already made a decision to can it a year ago and only ordered enough episodes to fullfill a syndication agreement. And NBC wonders why they are in the toilet.

How many new shows do you think there will be on NBC? They've gotta cancell all those failed new shows and the shows that are failing right now. Mind as well cancel everything and start all over from scratch. They ordered 17 episodes. For full syndication they would have had to order 18. 87 is not a syndication number.

It would be very STUPID mad.gif to cancle A hit show like Las Vegas, it is doing very well in the ratings last week it was 35 out of 138 & the week before it was 34, so come on it really would be a BIG mistake!!! Just change Las Vegas to a day other than Friday, Monday was nice.

I hate to say this but I think many of the long time fans who would bother to take the time to write in to save LV have become very disillusioned with the show. So many fans were huge Danny/Mary shippers and are no longer watching after this season because of the spoilers and the direction the writers have taken. Especially after rooting for a couple and then having a producer encourage you to keep watching but instead of getting a payoff for being a loyal fan and having the couple you want to see be together we get Danny with Delinda. It is almost as if they have given Delinda Mary's characteristics as well as everything she ever dreamed of (basically to be with Danny). I know a show shouldn't hang on the fate of one couple and it doesn't BUT I am just saying that many (myself included) are really disappointed with this season. I wrote in only because I don't want the show to end on these huge cliffhangers and after 4 years we deserve some resolution but many other fans I have talked to don't want to see this show continue on the path it's going.
Personally I think if they somehow brought Casey back and reunited Danny/Mary the show would pull in better ratings (of course so would a night other than Friday!). This is just my opinion of course, I am just saying that fans who have stuck by this show, even when the writing wasn't great tuned in because LV had such great potential and every once in awhile we were treated to great stories like in AF, HYESTR, etc. The only episode I've seen this season with that kind of heart was White Christmas. I am really hoping the last few episodes are as good as the spoilers make them seem to be. If this is the end I hope it goes out on a high note and not ep's like we've had where there is so much potential and then they fall flat.

I for one, will stop watching NBC altogether. Probably not too hard to do, considering all I watch is Las Vegas and Friday Night Lights. And well.. Friday Night Lights doesn't look like its going to get renewed.

The chemistry of the cast of Las Vegas is just great. I think its comparable to Friends.

I know no one will care. But Las Vegas has kept me laughing through good times and bad.

If this is the last season, I'd like to thank everybody whose been involved with the show.

I agree, and it isn't even just about wanting Danny and Mary to reunite, although I do. It is also about spreading the storylines so that everyone gets more of an equal share. I want them to explore the character's lives more, as well as stay true to the idea that the show is about casino surveillance. I want to know about Mike's personal life, and Sam's too. I want Casey to come back, although that apparently isn't going to happen, and I want Mary, the character I've rooted for from day one, to finally get her man. I want Dellinda to go back to being that fantastic character she was from season one that spent all of her time driving her dad crazy. I just feel like so many potential storylines have been passed on in order to have every other episode be about Delinda getting kidnapped and Danny and Ed having to save her. It just feels a little tired thats all. Sorry if you don't all agree, this is just my humble opinion. mellow.gif

The shows rating have been very good for Friday night. Crossng Jordan had it's highest rating of the season when Danny and Delinda - Not Danny and Mary came on. I like the writing this season, I was so sick of the land locked love boat with just having guest stars. It's way better. It's doing very well. it wins the demos and does well. So maybe some dary shippers are all mad, but a lot of people like it, and people did turn into Crossing Jordan even though Dared not to be with mary.
