It looks like we have the same taste in music! =)

I got to see GCH, HelloGoodbye, Sugarcult and Jacks Mannequinn @ Bamboozle Left in SoCal, last year. All very good live! I went to the PWT concert on Monday..Worth Every Penny of my $16! wink.gif

Yes!!! That concert sounds amazing! I've seen Jack's mannequin and i'm seeing hellogoodbye in two weeks!! I'm so excited!
I really want to see sugarcult, their lead singer went to my high school, which is awesome!

Oh yeah, I like Green Day too. Not one of my all time favorites though. But it's just a plus that they're from the bay!

Sharladawn, have you ever listened to Charlotte Martin? She is a newer artist, but has some similarities to Tori Amos. Some Tori fans love her music, others don't.
You should check her out. On Your Shore and the newest album Stromata are good ones to start with.

WOW! I just picked up her On Your Shore CD from the library today ... I've already listened to it twice! (Oh, and yes, I got it from the library and copied it to my computer. I'm a pirate. So sue me. Rrrr matey!) Her style is definitely just like Tori. In fact, I found myself listening to some of her chords and techniques and couldn't believe it WASN'T Tori! Her voice is a little different, which is to be expected. She kind of sounded like Tori, the early days, when she was in her band in the 80's.

Overall, I really liked it! Thank you for the recommendation!

I'm so glad you liked it! I knew Charlotte from college and I try to get her name out there, because she is a very talented artist and the nicest person! When I first bought the CD, I couldn't stop listening to it.

My iPod ranges from Pantera to Isis to Death Cab For Cutie to Aesop Rock to Pig Destroyer to Rise Against to Ceremony to Queens of the Stone Age.

I like to think I have a wide range of musical tastes.

The Soundtrack to High School Musical
Every song from "A Night at the Roxbury" I LOVE 90s dance music!
George's Answering machine from Seinfeld.

And of course the 'cool' music of today.

Yup I'm pretty embaressed now.

Someone likes High School Musical!? Ok I don't feel so embaressed now. It's just when you have a 13 year old sister and you see all those BOP magazines laying around your house you can't help but starting liking those sort of things.

I actually haven't met anybody that doesn't like High School Musical! Who wouldn't? Bunch of good looking kids running around singing and dancing in a school! Wait...why does that sound so familiar? laugh.gif

Oh poorman. I'm going to just ignore this statement.

Being the orch dork I am, I have some string music. The string quartet tribute to Fall Out Boy, to be more specific. It's embarassing, yes, but they're a really good quartet.

Also, Panic! At The Disco. I went to their concert too, but let's keep that a secret.

Makes me want to go watch some of the stuff again laugh.gif The Fluffy Puff Marshmallow one is still my favorite-along with Strongbad's e-mails laugh.gif

And to be on-topic here- not really embarrassing or anything (to me at least) is that I have a lot of Broadway music on my ipod. It never gets old!

Haha, I have some decent guilty pleasures... usually just one or two songs per band listed, but not in all cases...
Death Cab, Good Charlotte, Garth Brooks, Gym Class Heroes, and Jack Johnson...

I'm not ashamed.
