W&G DVD's slight pause?, does anyone els's DVD's pause Options

Hi everyone,

I own seasons 1-5 on DVD from Australia (at Video Ezy they are sold exclsuively there in Austyralia) and there is at least 1 episode on each season box set that has a pause in it. does anyone else's DVD's of W&G do that ? and if so why?

I know in season 3 there are at least 2 episode that pause on disc 3- it is episode caled 'cheaters part 1' near very end when grace is talking about Will's dad cheating but metaphoricaly speaking as the weather on the lounge. and ins eason 1 disc 4 it is the very last episode at rosario and jacks wedding soemwehre there is a pause. there is one ep on dissc 4 of season 2 also pauses a bit near the end of the episode.

Or does anyone DVD's at east pause at soempoint on ANY of your W&G box set season DVD's on any episode not necessarily the same as mine? Cause mine aren't scratched i checked i am very vareful when handling my DVD's and they are not.

help please! I am wondering if it is just my copy or is it soemthing to do with th emanufacturing or playing process? I know W&G DVd's are DVD-9 type of DVD's and DVd-9's usualy they have a warning saying double layer disc layer transition may cause a slight pause but i have neevr seen that on any of my other DVD's.

That's a very good eye. I never noticed that on my DVD's. Is it a huge puase to were you can def. notice or do you have to look closely?......I don't think mine do that, but I'll def. look and check it out. That's not fair for us to buy something and it not work!....lol.....thanks for the heads up.

Dude I'm listening to a song that's pretty cool by Motion City Soundtrack...called "The Future Freaks Me Out"......they mentioned something about Will and Grace....but all it says is "What's up with Will and Grace?" so yeah...just randomness

No. I can't think of anymore songs but, Will and Grace was mentioned on quite a few shows.....

I actually have a problem with one of my DVDs and I didn't want to start a new thread so I thought I'd find one similar. My Season 4 disk 4 has a defect on it. The second last episode stops midway and shows an episode of season 5. I thought it was a scratch but it was the first time I had watched that DVD and I didn't notice it skipped to a different episode until I watched season 5 today. I bought the DVDs at Walmart a few weeks back and clearly can't return it because it's been opened. Do I contact NBC about this or is this a lost cause?
