I'm also super excited about Goldblum because he's promoting his film "Pittsburgh", in which Conan has a cameo. It's gonna be on star cinemax and then DVD this September. I am SO buying it! Jeff was on Letterman a few nights ago and they mentioned Conan and I just beamed with joy. For some reason it still shocks me that outside of our little fan bubble people actually know who Conan is LOL laugh.gif

LA Times, 11/5/07
From the Department of Wishful Thinking: An e-mail sent out by NBC Entertainment this afternoon lists tonight's "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" as a repeat but has the show in originals for the rest of the week.

Could O'Brien be planning to pen the late-night show by himself?

If only it were so. In fact, the network is "updating listings on a day to day basis as the strike continues," a publicist explained. Which means there will be yet another new listing tomorrow, announcing -- surprise, surprise! -- that Tuesday's show is a repeat as well.

But for those of you wearing equally rose-colored glasses, you'll be happy to know that in case today's acrimony is miraculously resolved before then, tomorrow's "Late Night" will feature Heidi Klum and Lou Dobbs, with musical guest Grizzly Bear. Don't forget to tune in!

I was just looking at the interbridge Late Night TV lineups page and noticed that some of this week's Tonight Show reruns (due to the writers' strike) are from as early as 1992 and 1993. So if NBC has realized the value of older Tonight Show reruns, why can't they do the same with the Late Night reruns? I haven't been watching the LN reruns, but from what other people are saying, they've been mostly (if not entirely) from within the past 3 months. A lot more people would tune in during the strike if NBC aired some of the old episodes with Andy... or some of the most "unique" shows like the one with the all-kids audience, claymation, the one where Conan fell in love with the then-future Mrs. O'Brien... (a girl can try here.)

That's a good question. I don't think those Tonight Show reruns before '99 are going to be really HD (they didn't use film but videotape, did they?), so it shouldn't matter that old Late Nights episodes aren't HDTV either.

I'm sure everyone who's a fan of Late Night would love to see old episodes. It's always fun to see how much Conan's and Max's behavior has changed over the years, for example.

YES!! YES YES YES YES!! YES especially to that last one... OMG I would kill to see the episode where Conan met his (back then) wife-to-be...

And I'd also love to see the eppy where Fabio congratulated Conan on his engagement (and any similar if there is)

Not to mention the eppies right before & after Conan & Liza got married and some more after it, and when Conan "announced" he was going to be a daddy, and the eppy right after when Neve was born...and some good ones from the between these two and well after her birth where he talks about her happy.gif or pregnancy & babies in general...or being a parent...

(LOL I sound like I was talking about some soap opera laugh.gif)

and some goodness with Andy!! and so on. I would LOVE to see some old shows!!
