When You Watched The Finale..., Our Will & Grace experiences. Options

I thought it would be interesting to post a topic about our Will & Grace experiences and how the finale hit us. That being said, I'll start.

I'd watched the show when I was younger, but never really knew what it was. My sister would put it on the TV every once in a while, and I loved it even back then. I would watch it every now and then, and over the last few years I've been watching it like a crazy addict. I love how all of the characters are so real, no matter how ridiculous their situations are sometimes. They're reflections of human beings, all of our emotions, behaviours, etc.

When I saw the previews for the final episode of Will & Grace I was absolutely heartbroken. I understood that it had to end at some point in time, and I knew that it wouldn't turn into one of those shows that gradually got worse and got canceled, or one with a really crummy ending. Still, it was a shocking thing to hear. I promised myself I would watch the final episode when it originally aired, but my dates got mixed up and I ended up missing it. I missed the "Say Goodnight, Gracie" special as well as the finale. When they aired the finale again (which, luckily, wasn't too long after the original date), I was crying through the entire thing; especially when Jack and Karen sang "Unforgettable."

It was the end! No more! Although they play reruns now, which I watch every day, it's not quite the same as seeing an episode for the very first time with the rest of the world.

It's such a sad thing when something so loved has to go away. I feel so strongly for that show, especially since the gay community is represented in a positive way. Although the characters seem to make negative remarks about lesbians on the show, I don't care too much. Karen hitting on women makes me feel better. It's too funny! The "flipping dykes" joke always made me laugh like crazy, too.

Being gay (lesbian) myself, I always felt so comfortable with the characters. They made me realise that it's OK to be who I am. They made me proud to be who I am. If I'm having a hard time I watch the show to cheer myself up. I can relate to them.

All in all, I'm glad that the show ended in such an incredible way. I'm still heartbroken...but I'm so thankful to the writers and the actors for giving us such a wonderful gift.

I started watching Will and Grace a couple seasons in and it's my favorite show because I'am bi it gives a great message for that topic and it was a great show for people to watch and the relationships were enjoyable. I watched it with my mom and friends we loved it and still do. The last episode also broke my heart. I loved when Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally sang they have Beautiful voices and Sean plays wonerfully.

It ended perfectly, it's just sad knowing it was the end. It makes you want more.
