Pick one or more things to do from this list daily. If you do even one thing per day, that will bring us to January 1st. You can be a part of history, and help to save Journeyman. When you do, post here and/or on the http://savejourneyman.net/ what you did so that other people can see what's been done.

Note: If you're going to send a letter or email, be polite, firm, and tell them your passion for the show. People (allegedly) at NBC loved this show too. Show them that their fans are intelligent, respectful and civilized. We can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. sly.gif

1) and 2) 2 Snail Mails and a box of Rice A Roni.
Write a letter and send with a box (or boxes) of Rice-a-Roni. "The San Francisco Treat" has been chosen because the show is set in San Francisco. There are some great examples of letters that were already written that you can adapt. See details at http://savejourneyman.net/

Addresses to send to:

Mr. Jeff Zucker
President and Chief Executive Officer
NBC Universal Television Group
30 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY 10112
(212) 664-4444

Mr. Ben Silverman
Co-Chairman
NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios
c/o NBC-TV
3000 W. Alameda Avenue
Burbank, CA 91523

email: I believe it's bn.silverman@nbcuni.com.

Print one, a few or all 78 pages of the "Please don't Cancel the Show!" thread and send to Jeff Zucker and Ben Silverman. Just put each page in a separate envelope. laugh.gif
.41 stamp x 5 pages/letters = $2.05
.41 stamp x 10 pages/letters = $4.10
.41 stamps x 78 pages/letters = $31.98

*** JOURNEYMAN FANS *** NEWS FLASH ***
We are getting their attention. The Rice-A-Roni is getting to Mr. Zucker in a big way! We CAN'T LET UP NOW!!

Here is what is very critical - most of them are gone for the Holiday right now, and will be back in the saddle after the 1st. So we need to continue our crusade through the New Year. Our most important targets MUST include: Mr. Zucker and Mr. Silverman. NBC reportedly will donate all the Rice-a-Roni they receive. smile.gif

Update: The Rice-A-Roni we are sending is going to City Harvest in NYC (http://www.cityharvest.org/). So, we are doing some good on several levels. Keep sending that Rice-A-Roni!

5) Message Board Posts
Post on the NBC forum for Journeyman, and meet other fans. While you're there publicize the efforts to save the show. If you've joined the board just to let NBC know how you feel about new Journeyman episodes not being ordered, say so in your post. There are tons of other posts saying the same thing in the "Please Don't Cancel the Show" thread. Be positive, and encourage people to send emails and letters.

Also, we have a thread for each episode, so as you rewatch online, you can post your thoughts. Make sure you check out the Theories thread - there's lots of good stuff!

6) Media Contacts
Email addresses for news shows on NBC:
WT@NBC.com, today@nbc.com, Living@MSNBC.com, letters@msnbc.com, dateline@nbcuni.com, nightly@nbc.com., feedback@scifi.com

The Today Show has an email to send story ideas, the email address is todaystoryideas@nbc.com. Tell them about the crusade to save Journeyman.

Access Hollywood has a contact through their site.
Let them know about the campaign to save Journeyman and a remind them to watch the show online. Make sure to title it HELP US SAVE JOURNEYMAN or something similar.

If you live in or are visiting the Manhattan Area, hold a 'SAVE JOURNEYMAN' sign outside while the TODAY show is airing. Just think, we could see YOU on TV!

7) Online Viewings
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
NBC's gift to you: The full season of Journeyman online! Send your friends the link, so they can watch the show also. More watching = more attention.

Join the Stream on NBC.Com! Starting Monday, January 7 at 10PM, we will have a group stream of each episode, starting with the Pilot, "Love of a Lifetime." 8) Blogsite Comments

9) Critic Searches
Use a search engine like Google or Yahoo! and enter 'Top 10 Shows of 2007' + Journeyman. This is going to give you a ton of sites for critics that are rating their shows for 2007. What we need to do is put on as many of the 'mainstream critics' postings, replies with our picks for the top ten. If they missed Journeyman, let them know how great of a show they missed.

Believe it or not, the critics play a big role in the exposure of shows, as well as an influence on the ratings. If enough replies to their picks show Journeyman in the ranks, it will make a huge impact.

Also, try Hey Nielsen.com and register and post on Journeyman. The site was created by the Nielsen ratings company to get feedback from a wider audience than their in-home reporting. This information will find it's way to the networks!

Don't forget to:

1 react to the other good JM comments on there and
2 give the show a good rating
Then you are good to go.

10) digg stories
If this news story got enough diggs it could break onto the first page of their site and make infinitely more people aware of the fate this great show. So, if it is not to much to ask, and if you have the time please digg the article at the link below. Also, if you don't have a Digg account then it only takes a minute or to to create one (or two ).
http://digg.com/television/Save_Journeyman_2

Or do a search for "Journeyman" Digg the positive stories.

11) Friendly Emails
Email your friends and family who watch the show and get them to sign the petition or send a letter/email or do any one of these twelve things too. Email you friends and family who don't watch the show and let them know they can watch the show for free online. smile.gif

12) Thank You Notes
Write a separate Thank You Note to The Powers That Be at NBC. Thank them for giving us Journeyman, thank them for airing all the episodes, and especially thank them that we can view all the episodes online for free. Don't forget to wish them Happy Holidays.

**************************************************
There is a possibility that Journeyman could be picked up by another network.
Kevin Reilly, formerly NBC Entertainment President, was fired by NBC and is now the Entertainment President at FOX. Mr. Reilly was responsible for backing many NBC shows, including The Office, My Name is Earl, Heroes and Friday Night Lights. Send him an email, explaining the current situation of Journeyman, and asking if there is a possibility of FOX picking up the show. Also, when you write to FOX, definitely say that you want to see a DVD put out and that you would rush out to buy it.

kevin.reilly@fox.com

Snail mail:
FOX Broadcasting Co.
P.O. Box 900
Beverly Hills, CA 90213

Also at Fox:
Jack Abernathy CEO FOX: jack.abernathy@fox.com
President and Chief Executive Officer of FX Networks: peter.ligouri@fox.com

Also, if you go to FOX.com and click "Community" you can register for their message boards. There is a 48-hour waiting period before you can post. Look for the (Update!) Journeyman thread and beg FOX to pick it up.

Let's continue to try and save this show. Don't give up!

Don't sit idly by and say goodbye to yet another quality television show. At the very least, let The Powers That Be know you want them to keep quality shows on television. Ask them to please listen to the fans, instead of an antiquated ratings system. And don't forget to say your prayers.

Thanks to serulous, tdeerinck, Jnta, and whoever else helped to put this list together. (pm me if I forgot you and I will add your name to the list). I am making this a closed topic, so please post any other ideas or comments on the "What YOU can do to save Journeyman" thread.

And most of all, a very special thanks to Kevin Falls, and the cast and crew of Journeyman for bringing us this wonderful show. May we have many happy years ahead!

Ok fellow JMan Fans.....here is the skinny........

The campaign to save the show is *NOT* changed by KF's status with the studio.

The show can **NOT** be shopped around to any other network, period!

KF is aware of our campaign and our passion for the show. E-Mailing him will not really help the campaign. We need to keep pressing on......

NBC still remains the primary target since they have aired the show, and still is home for the show.

That is all for now....THE CAMPAIGN IS NOT OVER!! SPREAD THE NEWS!! Sorry for yelling, but I can't help it! wink.gif

~Tim

Thanks Tim!! Ok, everyone, keep up the good work!

One thing that can be done right now is to head over to vote for Journeyman on the TV IV Awards. Journeyman and Lost are running neck and neck, with Journeyman in the lead. Voting ends March 8th.
Only one vote per person/computer. So, ask all your friends to go and vote..for Journeyman! sly.gif

Whatever we can do to keep Journeyman in the news will help the campaign to Save Journeyman! cool.gif
