It was some of the funniest television I've watched when Conan interviewed Jordan the associate producer. He is so different I just think Conan needs to bring him back on the show more often. Keep it up Conan it is hilarious.

It reminded me in a way of what Conan did to Michael Koman.

Jordan Schlansky expertly cracks a bullwhip and drags Aaron Bleyaert around on a leash. That is completely fascinating.

"Those b!tches had to die."

The mouthwash stuff reminded me of something Hannigan would try to sell to Conan... sad01.gif I love you, Hannigan.

The best was when Conan couldn't stop laughing -- and I thought he was just being an "incredible @ss" but then he started laughing uncontrollably on the air, too... and for seemingly no reason at all. lol. Rush...

I'll agree, it was funny, thus confirming that improv still works (which is good, considering it's been 90% of my acting career thus far!)

With the writers strike, Conan is going to need to keep delving further and further out to get fun new stuff like this. I'm looking forward to the first time he interviews a completely random person from his audience during a segment. rolleyes.gif I'd give it, oh, two weeks.

Conan does a great job, and I love his impromptu stuff, but I'm sure, were he here, he'd agree, it will be a wonderful day when the writers return.

The only two people on earth who thought that was funny. The cue card guy is funnier! Hell, the producer Jeff was funnier! I bet these two people are staff members.

That uncontrollable laughter was contagious! It cracked me up. I totally got why Conan lost it, though! That Jordan guy is so stoic and serious, that you can't help but laugh. He's the king of straight face! I also loved when Conan found his stash of Pop Tarts, after Jordan talked up his health food habits. The wine tasting was funny too. "I smell the fruit!" LOL! Keep it up Conan! You're brilliant!

Conan, you're an aquired taste, aren't you?

You are much better with no writers though. Don't get too uppity about it, I told Jay the same thing.

I'll bet your staff is happy with the arrangement.

I thought it was great, too! I couldn't stop laughing when Conan starting giggling uncontrollably. And the dancing was great, too! And then everybody kept teasing him about it thru the whole show laugh.gif

As ususal, I'm going to be the one to object. I thought the segment started out well enough, but it get extremely mean quickly. I really felt sorry for Mr. Schlansky, especially the line about "Oh, I smell a fruit." I thought that was particularly objectionable. I thought NBC employees had to take seminars about this kind of thing?

And before any of you even say it, I GET THAT IT WAS DONE FOR COMEDY. And some of it was funny. But the worst part, I thought, was the end where they showed Conan uncontrollably laughing at something that Mr. Schlansky said off-hand. Conan mocked him, saying "You're not like other people." Like Conan is such an everyman. To top it off, they brought Schlansky out at the end, and he just sat there silent while Conan completely tore him apart. You could see the anger and disappointment on Mr. Schlansky's face the whole time he was sitting on the couch.

In that segment, Conan reminded me of every bad boss and bully I've ever encountered. And Conan said that this guy has been with the show almost since the beginning! Is that how loyalty is rewarded on "Late Night"?

I think Jordan Schlansky is going to have to have a revenge segment at the end of an "audience questions" segment, the way Koman and DJ Bruce did. "Wonder Woman or Baby Bum-bum?" indeed.

I thought the whole thing was very unprofessional. Conan said that we're going to learn more about him and his "sordid personal life" during the strike. Apparently, he wasn't joking.

I totally didn't see it like that...at all.
Schlansky's been working at the show for a long time, as Conan mentioned, and more than any random person, knows exactly how to play to Conan's humor, and that's what he did...perfectly. It was a great segment, and I didn't think he seemed offended at all. He's a bloody producer for the show. He knows how to work it!

I thought this was one of the funniest things I have ever seen on Conan. This Associate Producer has to be one of the most unique personalities I have ever seen on TV. His reaction to Conan's antics were so funny. I don't think the show was mocking him as much as saying "Hey isn't this man incredible?" I think that must have been what Conan meant when he said "You arn't like other people" Great television. I really did not get the sense that he was mocking his sexual orientation or making any personal attacks, I think he was just trying to get a reaction out of him. But no, nothing seems to phase this man...simply amazing.

Hi Son of Joel (or SOJ, or whatever);

I don't know if I agree with your assessment. First of all, I have a strong hunch that his Associate Producer may have been "playing a role". I'm not saying that this was scripted, far from it. But for example, I'm an improv comedian. There have been times where we had bits where one of my very good friends and I would go on stage, and playing ourselves, one of us would "tear the other to pieces" as part of the schtick. It's great fun, and of course, none of it is real. The person getting the "roasting" is usually biting their lip or thinking about decapitated kittens to try and keep a straight face. That's how it goes.

On the other hand, Conan is a writer, and his producers are producers.... There is a strike...

I loved the hell out of this, please bring him back and ridicule him mercilessly.

I'm going to watch every night just on the off chance that this might happed again, I can't stop thinking about it and how funny it was.

And it's not mean, you can tell Jordan loves it. Jordan loves the abuse, bring him back and give it to him good.

OMG I thought it was hilarious too. And hearing that 'B' comment from Conan... wow looool.

Besides, no harm done, teasing Jordon, for I read Conan always gives a heads up basically, in regards to what they are going to talk about etc. in the interviews or remotes.
Therefore, Jordan Schlansky had to be in on the jokes too. Hence the obviously planned (my opinion) but still hilarious plugs they did for the cereal and pop-tarts later on in Jordan office.

May I reintegrate, I also thought the 'meet Jordan Schlansky' was down right hysterical!!!
