Thanks Veeb,

Although I 'm puzzled by the TBL listing titled families .. Then I saw the 'Kath and Kim' thinking it was part of the TBL info but realize it's another show altogether!

I'll be looking forward to the fall season of TBL!

One thing with your post.. is that it is funny that it's targeting potential marketers.. Maybe they want to do more product placement pieces! As if we need more!

so these count as seasons 6 and 7 if they run during the same season?

also, if they are running seasons 6 and 7 at the same time (they casted both seasons, so I'm assuming that they're going to shoot both seasons at the same time) does that mean there will be two new trainers? if so, will they merge both shows at the end for one big finale?? oops, i've said too much.

I was wondering the same thing. also, do they show repeats of the biggest loser in the summer. I missed the first half of season 4 last year and would love to see the beginning episodes.

It looks like the family one will finish and then the couples will begin. Also now they will only be 1 1/2 hr long mad.gif . I wanted MORE (like the AU version) not less. Oh well.

I think they are going to tape the season 6 and 7 episodes just like or similar to how they did 4 and 5. I am sure they will tape over the summer and air 6 in the fall and tape 7 in the fall and air in January. I wonder if they are trying to avoid taping over the Christmas holiday like they did on this season(5). When they went home for a week that was for Christmas and they spent Thanksgiving on the ranch.

We know that the writers strike played big in the decision to have two seasons of The Biggest Loser this year, but what if they did it again next year? I mean, generally the spring line up is to try out new material, but I think they have hit a winner on putting two seasons back to back. People will tune into the first season and end up staying glued to the second.

Definitely! Other "reality shows" do it, why not? I know it may depend on Bob and Jillian, and I hope they could find the time.

Once a year is just not enough.

I believe there is a post about NBC lineup that shows that they are going to do family in the fall and couples on the winter line up.

I love that we should be getting it twice in one year!

I wish they would do some of the special ones in between, I don't know how I will survive the summer.

I can confirm that there will be a fall and winter season again for next year. this fall will be families and it's up in the air for the winter season being teams of 2 (any connection) or individuals. BUT as with anything in tinseltown, this can change at a moments notice. wink.gif Casting for season 7 will start in a few weeks, so we will know enough when the casting notice goes up.

If they do another winter season they should move it to Monday nights so it does not compete against American Idol on Tuesdays. They should keep Tuesdays in the fall.

Hi Pink I love the little pic you have up! Awesome! I was wondering will you notify us when they have finally made their Season 6 finalist notification? For those of us who are desperately waiting on a call?
