She does have another man in her life--Trent. She doesn't want to go public with a divorce because she would lose Victor's millions. So at this point, money matters more than being free, and she has told EJ this. Their last conversation was about it, and Nicole said "if things were different," blah, blah. She is not available.

How is Ej pathetic now? Sami told him today she couldn't imagine life without him and he told her the same thing back. I'm sure he did have feelings for Nicole but as everyones says "feelings is not love". The one thing for sure is ,he does love Sami and has for a long time. The only way Nicole will have him is to scheme and plot for him. Sami sure didn't desert Ej when they came out from the stairwell so she really didn't care what her father thought. So, I still don't see Ej as being pathetic, but don't get me started on pathetic.

Now? He LOOKS pathetic because it SEEMS he's buying Sami's you'll do crap. But, as he tried to tell Nicole today, it's not over between him and Nic. I don't think he's such a sap, and Nicole has shown him how it feels not to have to grovel for a woman's scraps and suffer her repeated "I love Lucas" speeches and TAKE IT.

I noticed that she didn't seem she didn't try to hide it from Roman either. It was a nice change. I expected her to get all flustered and fidgety and in denial, but she was pretty calm (given the circumstances). I hope she's wised up and is willing to explore her feelings now. Ej is good for her. I hope he continues to be such a calming supportive solid influence.

I hope you're right too. I did enjoy seeing Sami acting open with EJ, in front of her father and in front of Lexie and I believe even Kate, her and EJ hugged when she showed concern for everyone still up on the 7th floor (I think Kate was there?). On a separate but similar note, was actually nice to see Roman give EJ a friendly and supportive pat on the shoulder when they rescued Sami & EJ! Perhaps in acceptance...time will tell!

I guess that's where we have to agree to disagree. I think Sami's shortcomings degrade EJ.
IMO Sami's love for another man is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things that make Sami wrong for EJ.

sami and ej are now recognizing that each of them have reasons for feeling like they do..ej understands sami's dilemma, which does not make him pathetic at all, it makes him a real man. lucas on the other hand.......

haha...i REALLY wouldn't mind that at the moment.

ej is incredibly stupid for believing sami, and hes just gonna get hurt in the end, and who to blame...? it wont even be sami's fault, it will be his own damn fault for believing her in the first place, when she even includes she loves lucas and always will. i mean seriously ej isn't smart but i didn't think he was THAT dumb to fall for this crap.
