Sami loves Lucas. Ali plays her role as a woman in love with LUCAS. Bryan plays the role of Lucas as a man in love with SAMI. They are separated at the moment but I have zero doubt that they will be reunited.

YES and also on July 4th Lucas was ready to tell Sami he was ready to forgive her and move forward. He told Nicole that he and Sami were in love.
Overhearing Ej brag to Nicole is what messed that deal up. IF Ej hadnt been running his foolish mouth then the triangle would be over now. All this is just conflicts to keep soulmates apart as soaps have been known to do.
Ej is going to get hurt--and I do believe he deserves every pain he gets!

Exactly. If Lumi is the story, why aren't they having any scenes together except on 8/25 when he threatens to take Allie.? During EJ and Sami's conversation yesterday when Sami said she made one mistake, and EJ said "come on, Samantha, you know it's more than that," she did not disagree. The "more than that" is that Lucas can see that Sami's in love with EJ and hot for him. He's said it repeatedly. Goodbye and good riddance Lumi!

I agree that EJ seemed thoughtful during yesterday's episode. He's been burned by Sami's declarations about her feelings many times before. But he's a man--men are different (ask your husbands, or if we have any men posting here, please comment). They like a challenge. They like to have to fight to win the love of a woman. It's in their hard-wiring. I don't think that means EJ's pathetic because he's still fighting to win over a woman who's given him an awful lot of encouragement. I think that makes him a man!

So many people keep telling me that EJ is Sami's first choice, but that's just not what's playing out on my screen. Ali's not selling me on it, and Sami's not coming across to me as someone who loves EJ more than she loves Lucas. And I have no doubt that if Lucas decided he was ready to give their marriage another try, Sami would grab that chance and leave EJ behind in a heartbeat.

Sami has spent the last decade and a half trying to be with a man, whether it's Austin, Brandon or Lucas. Now she can't be with those three, so she's lining up EJ as her back up. That's not fair to him.

I think she needs to cut romantic ties with both of them and find her life outside a man. Then, maybe, she'll be ready for a relationship.

Ej has aplogized numerous of times for his past mistakes and it starting to get on my nerves how people keep talking about he raped sami. Storylines have passed and I for one glad Ejami went through with the rape issue because they had a trial and now they can move past it and move on with thier life.

I avoid these threads, this board, mainly because I know in every single thread, 'rape' has to be mentioned. It seems like Lumi fans realize they have no argument so they throw the 'rape' card any time they can. They love the impact of that word. While I don't think what he did was moral, he did give her a choice, it wasn't rape, unlike what Sami did to Austin, what Luke did to Laura, what Jack did to Kayla, etc, but it seems like all they have to offer as an argument. It doesn't even matter that Sami is over what happened period, and willingly slept with him just a few months ago.

I don't pretend soaps imitate RL in the least, but if I were in the middle of nowhere, and my husband needed help, and a stranger passed by who refused to help because they were in a hurry or it was too risky, and I kept begging him asking for help, if he agreed to help in exchange for sex, I wouldn't have a problem making that choice (I wouldn't like it, but I know I'd do anything to help my husband). I'd actually be more worried that they would be lie and say that, then not help anyway. I wouldn't call it 'rape' any more than I call people who ask for sex in exchange for anything else 'rape'. I do agree it's despicable, but not 'rape'.

Loving someone doesn't mean setting them up to think that they killed you.

Loving someone doesn't equate to threatening to kill off the members of your family unless you marry them.

To make a point, must I sit here and list all the hideous things Lucas did to Sami.
EJ was raised a Dimera and as his father told him, he must go after what he wants
no bars hold. EJ was fascinated with Sami from the start....then the obsession as
you call it (I call it the Dimera MO) took over, then given the opportunity EJ found
he not only desired Sami, he loved her. I will not go into the r---- again. It's
pointless with some but what I have observed is a man who little by little fell in
love with someone, did what he felt he had to do to have her, found out that was
not the right approach, sat back and looked at how the Dimeras handled things
versus how the rest of the world handles things, he changed from the Dimera ways
and now is waiting patiently until the woman he loves finally realizes she loves him
with the same passion he loves her. What a glorious moment that will be and when
she says I Love You Too! hopefully the debate will finally end.
