can you try to get Kristen Stewart from Twilight to host? Then to preform for the same episode Robert Pattinson from Twilight, to preform one of his songs from the soundtrack?
That would be an amazing show. You never know people might tune in alot in the episode!!!

I think it would be awesome if Amanda Bynes did it (she can reunite with Keenan for a skit! please can we poke fun at All That? I used to love that show) or Zachary Quinto (take advantage of the people who are already working for NBC). I think Robert Pattison wouldn't be so bad honestly. While I don't endorse Twilight, he has a healthy appreciation for self-deprecating humor.
Its too bad they can't have the guys from The Big Bang Theory--even just a skit with them would just be great. I put my vote in for Summer Glau or Nathan Fillion as well--both of them are funny funny people (live at conventions and such).
Simon Pegg and Nick Frost! That would be just FABULOUS. Extremely!
Hmm and I've run out of English-speaking actors I like XD

honestly just b/c Twilight wasn't a great movie doesn't mean that the stars can't be useful outside of it. I'm not a particular fan of the Harry Potter films, but I can honestly say that I think the talent therein are fun to watch outside of the HP franchise.
Truthfully I'd love to see Robert Pattison do a skit making fun of Twihards (or Twilighters or what those Twilight fans call themselves) or Edward Cullen. Especially his hair.

Being the original unfrozen caveman, who has watched every single show since the first one in 1975 (yes, I still have a full life), I submit the perfect caveman season, including musical guests:
Steve Martin (because he has EARNED it)....MG: Steely Dan
Dana Carvey (just because)....MG: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young]
Christopher Walken (need I say any more?)....MG: Billy Joel
Dan Aykroyd (for old time's sake)....MG: Rush (because they are Canadian, too)
Neve Campbell (under the Equal Fairness Act I must include a female guest here, and I remember how cute she was when she hosted before....'You wanna get wit' me?)....MG: Doobie Brothers
Martin Short....Jethro Tull
Eric Idle/Michael Palin (either together or separately, I remembeer the olden times when they hosted regularly....Miles Cowperthwaite....and to send a shout out to SNL's sister-cousin show, which SNL was America's Monty Python)....MG: Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood (because they are also British, which would be congruous with the host(s), and they are the core of Blind Faith, and have been touring together)
John Malkovich (I always LOVE when he hosts)....MG: Bad Company
Paul Rudd (I loved the show he hosted, fit right in, he did)....MG: Dweezil Zappa
Catherine O'Hara....MG: The Dead, but without Jerry they are the Ungreatful Dead, or the Ingrates
Arte Lange (because his mysterious cameo in the finale made me wonder what a show with him hosting would be like)....MG: U2
Amy Poehler (too soon...?)....MG: Allman Brothers
Norm McDonald (just because)....MG: Bruce Springsteen
Sting (he is comfortable with sketch comedy, as well as acting)....does double duty with The Police
Tracy Ullman (she is`wired for sketch comedy)....MG: Paul McCartney (but he CANNOT sing that song of Tracy's that he appeared in her video)
Dana Gould/Brian Regan (I know these two are stand up comedians, but I am willing to chance that they could translate to sketch comedy)....MG: Moody Blues
Rashida Jones (because I think she is cute on Parks & Rec)....MG: REM
David Spade....MG: Deep Purple
Julia Louis Dreyfuss (that was the the host where they said my name, both first and last (what are the odds, after writing them in my yearly letter and asking particularly that if someone is reading these letters, could they throw me a bone and say my name, not a common name by the way).....MG: Eagles
Steve Carrell....MG: 311 (for the kids, even though the band has been around maybe 20 years)
Mike Myers (I loves me some Myers, and he'd better bring it, like Sprockets, et al)....MG: Robert Plant/Jimmy Page
*************************************************
There you have this caveman's perfect season, kind of brings you back to the olden days....
Everybody probably has there own particular list, what's yours? Fun for the whole family....
But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong....
Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow....

I want to see Eminem Host the show, maybe do a skit about what happen at the MTV Movie Awards (Borat Guy) [When Eminem first walks out on stage at the start of the show, one of the cast members could interrupt him by repelling down from the ceiling like the Borat guy did, then Eminem could say "We have a great show tonight..." and the show begins]. The best part would be a SNL Digital Short with Adam and Eminem making a funny rap song. They can have him host it so he can market his Albums Relapse 1 and soon Relapse 2. Let him dress up like he does in his music videos, Marshall Mathers would be hilarious. Maybe through in a cameo for 50 cent, D12, and Dre.

Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart. There has to be plenty of spoofs there in regard to their Twilight characters. When their characters love starts to settle in, there has to be some humor in her telling him at some point that he needs to start doing the dishes or take out the trash.... or maybe to tell him to stop using her hair products all up. I think Justin Timberlake has got to do at least one and be involved in the skits/shorts. Let me tell you, I have been watching SNL since it first came on (only 12 years old it felt like sneaking in to a porn show each week!) - and there have been some people who are naturally funny and some who try to be funny and aren't. Watching him on the show, he is "an entertainer," which is probably something he acquired doing concerts, etc. I think you can feel it in the crowd as well - not just because he's Justin Timberlake, but because he is truly funny doing anything with the SNL cast. I saw an editorial in a national magazine while at the doc's office last month that said 'Justin - Please be on SNL every week."

Whether they undergo self-reformnation or someone fires every last Jo Fo on that sjow, just do what it takes to prepare for a real host. Most of the people I'd like to see on the show wouldn't go near that show. They wouldn't touch that hizzo with a 10 foot pole. The show's current formula aside from music acts is : 1/3 recycled material, 1/3 anti-Italian sketches, and 1/3 boo shee. It's a lose/lose/boo shee formula. The streets ain't feelin' that. We're the ones who are craving those postitive messages and religious sketches of yester-year. I'd like to see:
Chris Meloni- He is severely overdue to host SNL. It is a shame NBC has neglected its own talent with SNL. I'm not really a fan of SVU, but his comedy bits from movies like Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas make him more then qualified to host.
Cheech & Chong- They are finally back together. Need I add more. I will add more anyway. Both Cheech and Chong have a variety of comedic abilities outside of their famous act.
Bruce Campbell- He has finally found a semi-mainstream audience with his hilarious character, Sam Axe, on the show Burn Notice.
In addition to my previous list:
Bryan Cranston
Molly Ringwald
Michael C. Hall
Brendon Fraser
Betty White
Bruce McGill
Tony Shaloub
Roseanne Barr
Kevin Nealon

One of the most memorable hosts from last year was Brian Williams. I questioned the decision because he seems such a serious and respectable anchorman. But I discovered that he is tremendously funny and self-deprecating.
This season, could you ask a similar person to host one of your shows? I am suggesting Anderson Cooper.
He claims to be shy and a slight nerd but underneath that facade, I think there is a comedian fighting to resurface. The writers could have SOOO much fun thinking up sketches because he is such a mystery and he refuses to show any hint of his ability to dance...
But in case both your show and he agrees, could you hold a lottery online to get free tickets? I can't stand in line for hours to receive them...In fact, why not have an online suggestion board for guests and if chosen, the person who first suggested the host gets free 2 tickets to the show? It would boost both ratings and participation in the show b/c you are empowering viewers to select just like the many reality show contests...
Just a suggestion.
