Bush is doing a good job of propping up the sliding US economy.Come to think of it the US economy has a huge, growing trade deficit with no sign of sorting out.
One of the few internationally superior assets the US has is its armed forces.
9/11 gave US the oppurtunity to use this mighty idle asset to get free Iraqi oil to prop up the American economy.
