Years ago Conan had (what I think)was a bet or something in which he lost and had to jump in the river (or bay etc.)
I've seen the clip during the opening of his show awhile back. Does any one know just what that was all about??

that was from the 5th anniversary opening. he took all the very very best of all the clips from late night, locked them in a theft-proof safe, then dumped that into a hug can of quick-drying cement, and then sealed the can and hurled it into the hudson river...then realized what he'd done and did his best to retrieve them. classic comedy, u shud see it. i think they sell the tape at the nbc.com store.
