Is it really Theresa's fault that Ethan is in a Coma. I mean come on now would you just walk into a room in a house that you dont own( and mind you this room is Alister's study)and eat some food. Thats like walking down the street and eating a hot dog sitting on a bench. On top of that Ethan knew very well that Theresa was trying to poison and if you knew that someone that lived in the same house as you was trying to poison ANYBODY would you eat something just laying around(especially in the intended poisonee's room.

I know others probally feel differnetly. Please post your thoughts

I totally agree. I think this was a mistake with the writers. I think they chose a poor way for this to happen. If they really wanted Teresa to poison Ethan, they should have did it differently. It makes Ethan look bad by having him just randomly eat the guacamole.

I agree 100%. However, I'm used to watching some weird storylines on Passions after many years.

it is theresas fault because she left the poisoin out for anyone to eat, it could have been little ethan or something, it was irresponsible of her to leave the poisioned food out. her irresponsibility led to ethans comma

that's true too. But NOBODY forced the guacamole down E's throat. He's a grown man and he's capable of making WISE decisions. He obviously didn't here.

Well first off, Ethan still thinks good of Theresa and wouldn't believe she is capable of following through on her threat of killing Alistair. I don't think he had it in his head to be suspicious of anything that had to do with Theresa murdering Alistair, least of all thinking the dip he was eating was poisoned. Of course I would find it weird for myself to go into someone's room and eat their food but Ethan's been living at the Crane mansion for a while now and had lived there for a while so he's familiar with it.

Ethan shouldn't have eaten the dip yes but that's secondary to Theresa shouldn't have poisoned the dip in the first place and left it out for others to see. Point is Theresa still would have been in big big trouble in the eyes of the law for attempted murder and negligence. Deliberately or not, she put him there.

and nobody FORCED theresa to poision the food and nobody certainly didnt make her forget to take it with her, Ethan was alisters grandson for years and is very comfortable and familiar with the mansion and has been eating the cooks food for years, he wouldnt have a clue it was poisioned, theresa saw ethan go into that room, she should have stoped him or went in with him and taken the food away,, bottom line is NOBODY is more responsible that theresa for ehtans comma, she was irresponsible and she cant blame anyone but herself for that one, who knew and all really is secondary to whom actually did the deed which was theresa
