Most comedians are nerds and suchs. When reality bites you in the [censored] every day, you start to hate it and make fun of it to belittle it and to stand the agonizing fact that nobody likes you. Comedy is a form of escaping the reality and surviving. Also a way of seeking approval wich all nerds and such desperately seek.

Conan's painful nerdiness sums up well to his relationship with Max and the band. Conan makes fun of Max and the band but desperately seeks their approval with his non-existing musical skills.

Why finns like Conan? Because finnish people are all nerds and such. Life, people, climate and everything sucks in Finland. Finns are the nerdiest nation on the planet living in a hell hole called Finland.

Finns hate each others and at the same time desperately seek for approval from each other and from the rest of the world. When someone recognizes Finlands existence finns go crazy and have a party where everyone thinks everyone is stupid.

And that's why also Conan is coming to Finland. Finns like Conan liking them and Conan likes to be liked - the idea of it atleast. When spiteful nerds come together things get weird like that. Reality and fiction collapses into something wich we don't have a word for.
