The mystery wasn't very mysterious, so hopefully Passions will redeem itself by making this character one that will help end a lot of open storylines.

well.. some people are saying how they hate that the mystery woman is rachel.... but i like the idea. think of all of the twists that will occur, they are so suspensful.
But, if Rachel is alive.. she was married to alistair right? So if she didnt die, than Katherine or Teresa arent legally married to Alistair right? Anyways, i dont think Rachel will wind up killing Alistair, something will happen, who knows, what if after all this suspense.... SHE is the one who gets killed for good? But if they kill Alistar off, there wont raelly be anymore twists. If Passions didnt get renewed and this was the last year, i would see why they would kill off Alistar, but luckily its renewed. Well, thats all i have to say for now.

My idea is that Miguel won't return with Charity. I think that the writers have too much fun creating love triangles, and they'd rather have Miguel mess with Kay and Fox then let anyone in Harmony be happy for more than 2 seconds!!

I am a daily viewer and hung onto my chair while Ethan was in a coma....I knew almost from day one the Rachel was the mystery women.....I've never stopped watching Passions because my daughter got me started telling me who was who,,,etc, etc..etc I don't want Passions canceled, its the only Soap I watch anymore....I hope things will start going in Theresa's way now!? There was a few times that I did feel sorry for Gwen though when Theresa took her place instead of the surragate and what a mess that turned out to be.......[ my Aunt is in her 80's and tries to watch every day............don't cancel please

I have only been watching this show for 2 years and it seems to me that absolutely nothing has changed. I don't believe 1 of the story lines have "ended"!
Rachel was way to predictable for all the "mystery" hoopla! They started bringing her up out of nowhere this summer and Alistar has been taunting Katherine with it threatening to expose Sheridan...it had to be her.
I am very excited, however, for the party. I hope it ties up some loose ends!!! If not, I'm gonna scream!

I really liked the mystery. I liked when Alistair Crane was going crazy and losing his mind. I can't wait to his face when he comes face to face with Rachel at the New Year's Eve party tomorrow on the show. He's proably going to be shocked when sees her. I think he knows that he is the one who is going to be killed. I think Rachel is going change everyone's life if she kills Alistar Crane in front of everyone at the New Year's Eve party. I guessed it correctly that the Mystery Woman is Rachel Barrett.

It took me a while to figure out who it was but now another twist is added. Maybe to clear up a few other twists. I have been a fan since the beginning. Although I have missed a few shows. I hope that Rachel can set everyone straight, including Fancy. She doesnt grasp the fact that her grandaddy is really a horrible person. I hope at the party that her eyes will finally open and she can see how he truely is. I hope that Ethan and Theresa will end up together. I was glad when she kidnapped Ethan. Now that is real true love for you.

Please give Theresa back her daughter and let her and Ethan finally live in peace!

I knew it was Rachel on Chap. 2 as well. For Reiley to be creative he would actually have to use his brain really hard to do that. He can never come up w/ anything on his own he has either recycled it or stolen it for another show.

Kudos to NBC for the Passions Red chapters which were really well done, including the music used. I loved watching them and can't wait to see Rachel on the big screen. I guessed it was Rachel by tying together the perfume,old wedding dress and the hatred she had for Al.

I guessed right. After the first couple chapters and saw her interest and knowledge of the Cranes, especially Alister Crane, I knew it could only be Rachel.

to me it was obvious. I have been watching since the show started....but must admit have taken months off here and there due to lack of interest. Started watching again but not much has changed. Really wish they would do an unexpected twist. Shock us for real! By the way...a real shock would be something we DON'T see coming.

Sam and Ivy-when is this going to end????? I thought that when Eve's history was exposed that she would expose John's true maternity and that Ivy was behind David's arrival. And no one believed Kay when tried telling everyone the truth. And now that she suspect that Ivy is trying to destroy her relationship with Fox , I thought that she say something again.

With Ethan coming out of a coma, I was hoping that he would have amnesia or come out of it with a different personality (not cheesy like the Zombie Charity thing). I don't know how Eric Mortsoff can stand playing this limp noodle of a guy. Give him a challenge!

When I saw it was Rachel, I was very disappointed. I thought Alistair was in love with her; why would he be afraid of her? On the other hand, when I saw she's being portrayed by Sharon Wyatt, I was excited! Soap Opera Digest hinted that she was familiar to viewers of an ABC soap. I loved her as "Tiffany Hill" on General Hospital in the 70's. It's like "Sean Donelly" (John Reilly, Alistair) and "Tiffany" have been reincarnated. (similar to DAYS' Patch & Kayla reborn as Stefan Cassidine and Katherine Bell on GH)

Thereslut is obsessed with Ethan if she loved him and believed it was their fate to be together then she would have backed off a long time ago.
