did anyone see Carson daly last Friday? They had a blatant rip-off of Conan's superbowl bit where the correspondent wasn't really at the superbowl. And it's not a coincedence, because conan did a similar bit last year.

I don't know, I thought of it more as an homage to Conan. I've really enjoyed watching Carson Daly get better at hosting his show, and in any case, his show is like a 30-minute extension of Conan's show during the week.

Carson is the first post-Conan generation late night host, so I think it's really charming that he tries to be like Conan. And Carson's show is getting a lot better, not that I ever thought that it was bad, mind you. And both Conan and Jay have made it clear that they support him--Conan calls him a "younger sibling"--so despite SNL's objection to him as a "tool," I really enjoy Carson's show. If you don't need to be up early, give Carson's show a look.

What bugs me is that when Conan ends he always says stay tuned for Carson but nothing worth watching ever comes after Conan as Carson is not shown in Finland. Carson too to tv.
