what does it mean when it has a -1 next to clues remaining

Hmmmm, I found 3 in the video.

I confused over the "clues" and the "symbols". I think the symbols are what we collect and the clues will be unlocked in the vault, right?

I saw 2 on the video also, but if you clicked on the gold key that only gets added to your bookmarks.

I found three also but only one is the actual symbol. If you go the help section it says: "One will be hidden in the Tuesday video chapter, one in the Thursday video chapter, one in the Maybelline page, one in the Garnier page and one somewhere else within the Vendetta site." So the 5th one most likely will be on Thursday.

I am unable to see or hear the video. I have downloaded the flash and have microsoft video (most up-dated). When I click on video help it just tells me what to do. When I click on play an alert comes up and says "not available in this state". What am I doing wrong. I get the video just fine when Meredith Crane gives her videos on upcoming events. Can you help me?

ok this is what i think, i cannot acess the video, so i only have 3, and it says i need 0, so i am thinking those of you who can see the video will have the -1, b/c you have one more than the site thinks you should have. if it was a plus one, then it would be the one from thurs. i think maybe the internet needs to update overnight or something, to read correctly, remember CA is 3 hours behind the east coast. i think check tomorrow and you will all have 0 i will have a plus one, until i can watch chap one and then thursday we all will need that clue, and maybe have a neg one then too, unless they fix the site to be real time.

i couldn't see the video at first, then I closed and reopened my browser adn that helped--It played, but was very choppy. I started it over and right clicked on the video and I was given the option of adjusting play speed. I put it on slow and it came through MUCH better...

I also have -1 fo the clues and am glad to se that I', not alone in my confusion. Thanks for reminding us that the next one will be Thursday...

There is actaully 3 in the video. The key, the one on the wall and his bracelet. You can't click on all of them. I got one from each of the make-ap ads (so that is 2 more). I got 1 from the main page, and there is one in the week 1 photos that I can't click on.

can anyone help me find the last one. i got the one in the chapter and the 2 in sponsors.

The forth one in on the main page and then the fifth one will be available tomorrow in the video.

click on the "sponsors" button next to the "boards" button and chose Maybelline to find one clue and then go to Garnier for the next clue.

don't watch the ads.... scroll down and READ them

Ok I'm confused!!! I found both of the clues from each ad which would make 2 then I got my video to work FINALLY and found according to the bookmarks 2 clues but only one of them is counting. In my vault is shows I have 3 out of 5 and at the bottom it says clues found: 3 clues available: 1. Which that only adds up to 4 all together but I thought there was 5. so i'm lost did I find 4 clues and i'll find the last one on tomorrow's video or what?

Did you get the clue from the "main" page? That would be # 4, then 5 would be in the video tomorrow.

I found all the clues but its only counting five is anyone else having this problem?

I found two Omega symbols in the video but when I clicked on them they were only stored in the video bookmarks until the video was completed and did not count toward my clue vault treasure. The Sponsor ones were counted but not the video ones. Can anyone help? I also have dial up like a few that posted on another thread does that have something to do with the video clues not being counted???

you should only have 4 as of last night, as of today you can have 5, as for not seeing the video, please read the threads that say video help and need help, there are several... ihave suggestions and so do some others, it depends what you are getting, so i can't tell you in this thread, different people were getting different errors, but if you have norton antivirus, you will need to disable it, and you need to have wmp 9.0 check your version at help and about it should say 9.0xxxx (mine said i have the latest version even though i didn't when i would click check for updates, so you need to physically check the version b/c microsoft must have a bug, b/c i had 7.0xx but they said i had wmp 9)

What did you find? something extra? what are the icons in the vault. i have none. are they available?

to those who can't see and/or hear the video, after updating flash. Sorry to say, if you have dial up, you will not be able to watch the vids.
On Passions red you could, but these videos are interactive, making it slow loading.
Dial Up users will not be able to view clues or anything.
You'll have to wait and see what happens on the show

she didn't find the 5th clue on wed...it wasn't up... the video wasn't up till thurs...and notice when that person registered......3/17/06, which was friday.....so that post makes NO sense

I've actually so far unlocked seven. Completed all 5 clues from last week.
It unlocked an extra photo:
An extra video.
An Icon ( When I click on it nothing happens)
Desktop (when I click on it nothing happens either)
Puzzle pieces.

The icon is a .gif image of Sheridan and Luis, and the desktop is a wallpaper image of most of the men on Passions. In order to see them you have to turn off your pop-up blocker as they pop up in a new window.

yeh, same here. Found 3 in the chapter videos and 1 in the garnier ad n di other in di other ad. Only got 3 pieces of the puzzle, i can't wait until next wk to get more so i can figure out who's the monk

Ok just to make sure I have it right....as of today i have 8 clues and 0 available. i found all 5 for last week and then 2 on the sponsor pages for this week and then the one in the video. It's not showing that the one that is somewhere in the website is available i'm just makin sure that's correct and then the next one will be available thursday in the video. Please just let mek now if i'm counting this right. I was just wondering because last week the one whithin the website was avialable early and this week i can't seem to find it and the computer isn't sayin that it's there either so i'm just checking.

I think you are right. I have found 8 also, and says 0 available. I thought the mystery clue would be available by now.

ok am confused i found 8 clues today earlier this morning it said 0 clues avaible now it is saying 1 is avaible but in my vault it is saying that i need 2 more to unlock the treasure so can someone please tell me what is going on with the counters

ok well i guess sometime between this afternoon and the time u posted the mods put up the mystery clue. which is why it is saying 1 available. mine looked like that when i got on just a min ago and i have found the 9th clue which says that 0 are available till tomorrow sometime. and i have found 4/5 of the clues for this week. So i hope that helps.

ok i updated flash found all 5 clues for this week it tells me i have no symbles to find but tells me i have found only 9 5 from last week and 4 from this week i even went back and clicked on all clues from this week several times and its still not giving me the 10th one this is really frustrating please help

u prbably still need clue from chapter 4 video -- if u have that one do u have the mystery clue from the vendetta site for week 2??

chapter 4 video is up now i got the 10th clue -- it just is not registerng on the clue counter -- and when you get it it will say that you have 10 clues and -1 clues available
