could be a good possibiliy that its alisters father,the monk is suppose to be 100 yrs old,,now taking alister is maybe early 70s,,maybe the old man went nuts and was put away,,but have to say he gets around pretty good for being 100,as for spike i think he is one of alisters demon seed products from some past fling,,like beth,,so with beth and spike helping the monk its possible they might be related,,,,,,,this is just a thought

like i have posted before "100 years old" is a myspace thing i think it is the default age, many people on myspace have that on there page so that is probably not the monks age
