Maybe Father L is Als brother and years ago had an affair with Als love Rachel and a child was produced (that would be SPIKE!) and so Spike is Als nephew and indeed a Crane and Al somehow went off the deep end and that is when Father L became blind because of a scuffle he and Al had or it was some sort of punishment for the affair he should not have had as a Priest???? Maybe that is why Father L feels so terrible for Whitney and is going to use Whitney to keep the secret covered up about his affair with Rachel and somehow Al had a plan in motion in case he became ill or
in this case in a coma and those symbols are clues to the art that explains the story of what happened years ago and could hurt the church!! Could Father L be the Monk???
I think I remember something about Alister being behind Father Lonigans blindness.. He and Al have shared some words in the past that were not very nice.. guess we wait and see. It's gonna be a shocker though..

yes, i believe that father lonigan is allistar's brother, but i also believe there is another brother, father to skike, and as for sheridan being raechal's daughter? this also could be true, it would explain the hate that allistar feel's so deeply for sheridan.

Yeah.. crazy stuff but Father Lon could be Al's brother and the Monk could be Alisters twin. The twins Al and the Monk are Evil.... Father Lon has the Good powers and the Goodness and the Evil have been going at it for years in Harmony! Twins Grace and Faith against Twins Alister and the Monk!! That is why Alister hates the Standish Family and the Bennett girls have powers that can take Alister and his Evil twin down! Yeah.. I think Father Lon is Alisters brother and the Monk is Alisters brother too.. the Monk and Al are evil twins and they hate their brother Father Lon because he is on the good side.. It's a good vs Evil thing all the way!!

But the whole idea about Alistair and the father being brothers is possible! He's the good one, Alistair's the bad one. You never know! Although, you would think that Tabitha would know this and would have made mention of that kind of association long before this.
