Since there are so many 'best of' threads out there, I thought I'd start one regarding the best ending. There are a bunch of great show endings out there, which one is your favorite or the most funny?

My vote is for the end of the Christmas party episode where Meredith takes her top off for Michael and he takes that weird deep breath for a second before snapping a picture off and then saying "alright, lets head out, you have a coat?"... I thought I was going to die laughing...

My favorite show ending would have to be "Diversity Day" where Pam falls asleep on Jim's shoulder, just for his last line. If that doesn't warm your heart I don't know what would!

haha ya those are great ones... my personal favorite however is the ending to performance review... its hard to top watching dwight scramble in the parking lot as he shows up to work at 12:20 because he thought it was saturday...

I have to go with xroot. I like Pam asleep on Jim's shoulder, and Jim wondering if he should get up or not.

My favorite endings:
-When Jim gives Pam the chips after "it was weird."

-When Dwight hair is blonde.

-When Jim put Michael's mug in jello

My favorites:

• Ok, I still like the ending to Casino Night.
• The end of Gay Witch Hunt with the Gaydar
• Dwight acting like Jim in Product Recall.
• Ryan winking at the camera at the end of Launch Party. (I know that wasn't a favorite for a lot of people, but it seriously made me bust out laughing after the second and each following viewing. It's so pompous it's hilarious. )
• And I really like the last scene with Jan and Michael at the end of Money where they are walking off and holding hands and just kind of being intimate.

The end of Product Recall was great. I also like the end of The Coup with the grenade.

This is weird -- in what episode did they do the charity run? I'm thinking it was last fall. Anyway, the shot of Michael laughing/puking at the end was priceless.

I have a question about the ending of the law suit episode that re-aired last night....... at the end, when the credit were running, there was a kid playing the theme song on the piano, but before i could see who it was, my tivo quit recording.... did this kid die or something? a photo of him was coming on to the screen right as it quit recording. i would have started my own thread, but it would let me.... thanks!

Hahahah... I am just running around like a kid in a candy shop today... anyway my favorite ending ever was Pam's three second reaction shot at the end of Gay Witch Hunt. I have never ever seen such a beautifully put expression of laughter and pure anguish all at the same time... I admit it... I got emotional....

and even though the ending wasnt 'funny,' i really LOVED the ending of The Job (final epi in season 3). I loved Ryan's actions here and Kelly going "What?!" The kicker was Ryan smirking at the camera for that one second before the scene cut. Agh! it was amazing, and definitely a great ending to season 3

My favorite ending was to "The Covict" - Andy serenading Pam with "Rainbow Connection"
Pam appreciating the humour and knowing that Jim was still thinking about her. The smile on Jim's face knowing that he made Pam's day. It had humour, heart and hope for the future of Jam at a time when it was needed most.

I have to say, I loved last nights ending. Possibly even more than a hypothetical JAM engagement.

Also loved the end of the Carpet. 7 voicemail messages *heart swoon*.
