I got it! The monk is Alister and Rachel's son (Alister Crane Jr). Alister kept Rachel hidden for a long time. Who's to say that she did not give birth to their own child and Alister hid him away and used him to do his dirty work for him. So, he knows all of Alister's secrets and now he wants revenge!! And perhaps to set everything right that Alister has done wrong?

is there proof that they had a child together.... well it could be a thing thats why whitney doesnt regonize the monk but luis said there is something familliar about the monk but its a good thought lol

Well, it is only a theory, but it would explain why there is two Alister Crane's. It would also give some sort of story line for Rachel other than her encouraging Katherine to go after Martin all the time.
