I'm not so sure. I could see Ethan feeling bad and guilty because he falsely blamed Theresa so much that he wouldn't be able to face her right away. And it gives him a chance to go on vacation too.

All the revenge Theresa needs is to be able to be held by Ethan in front of Gwen, and give Gwen that look that she has gotten so many times in the past. It would drive Gwen into the looney bin.

What I think would be cool is to get Ethan really jealous with this new J.T. charachter and somehow come up with the idea that Teresa was sleeping with J.T. to get the information she needed from him, only to realize that he loved her so much that it didn't matter any longer that he believed she had betrayed him to the tabloids and have him bust into the room thinking he was going to stop Teresa only to catch Rebecca with J.T. instead and realize what a complete idiot he has been and make him grovel at Teresa's feet and then have Ethan and Teresa make the call to Gwen together and tell her they know her secret just before they do the deed.

Don't get me wrong, I hate Gwen but if she were to be the one to die than she would be the victim and "Poor Ethan" would feel sorry for her gag. I want him to hate her for what she's done. Besides death is too easy. She needs to pay for the consequences of her actions.
