OMG, so now we are petitioning to get rid of JER? If you all hate this show soooooo much, and think that he can't write, and is not inventive enough, WHY DO YOU WATCH THE SHOW???? He has been the one doing Passions since the beginning! Obviously you must have liked the show at one point or another to start watching it, and to be watching it to this day, right? Please stop B****ing! If you dont like the d**n show its very easy to solve your problem, SHUT IT OFF! DON'T WATCH IT! This is a SOAP OPERA, its supposed to be predictable, looooooooooong drug out story-lines, cheesy acting. Come on people, think, think, think, you dont like JER or how he writes the show, TURN IT OFF!

I think the point of JER bashing is that what was once a creative, entertaining, and a hilarious soap to wwatch, it has suddenly turned sour. I think we all know that Passions is JER's baby, but he has definitely "ruined" it and it has gotten much worse. If you didn't know it is always rated last, never getting above the 1.4 mark, unlike in the past, it was much higher.

Not to mention ever since JER started writing for Days, those ratings have plummeted. And because of this he was/will be replaced as head write for Days.

He has lost his touch. We are not saying we hate the soap in general; we would simply like to see a change in the writing because obvisouly JER is not on the same page he used to be.

Personally I love the characters, and I love some of the storylines, but you when you have so many unresolved storylines, it tends to get a little frustrating.

People like to vent. Just like you just have, we like to do the same.

yeah i agree with shellbell on this one, if you guys dont like the show then dont watch it, and like he/she said you people obviously dont mind or you wouldnt be watching it now, and come on people do you really think a petition online is going to get rid of a writer of a soap opera? yeah highly doubtful

Just be patient...at some point, Jer will either be hit by a comet and will suddenly have wonderful ideas to broaden the storylines. I'm pretty sure that he is under contract..once that contract is up...

Just be patient.

ok so my mom used to watch a soap when i was younger and it was predictable and repetitive come on its a soap opera things are going to be predictable, there will always be love triangles, a villain, and other things that are the same in every soap, if you dont JER then its simple dont watch his shows

Soaps follow a formula....always have. I do wish the writing would get spiced up a bit, the humor on the show is great.

This petition has been going around for a very long time now, and JER is the HEAD writer, So if he goes Passions goes.

If he has an original idea his head would explode. No need to wait for the comet. lol
