Ch 1:

As JT begins to spill the truth to Ethan about Rebecca and Gwen and the tabloid secret, Rebecca on the other end of his cell phone shrieks Stop!!! What about your promise to me? What about our nights together! You can't tell Ethan! I'll do anything you ask, I'll give you anything you want! Just what ever you do, don't say anything to Ethan.

Too late, JT confesses all, given that Theresa has promised him assistance with the IRS and his current financial situation.

"It's true Ethan, Rebecca and Gwen Hotchkiss sent me the info on your paternity and decided to frame Theresa Crane for it. They sent it from her laptop so everyone would think she sent it."

"Don't ever call me Theresa Crane" Theresa snaps "My name is Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald!"

"I don't believe it," Ethan says incredulously, "It's just too far fetched! Gwen would never do anything like that. Theresa! How much have you paid JT to say this! I can't believe you'd stoop this low! You know that I am never leaving Gwen! She's my wife! I am so finished with you, stay away from me and my family! I want nothing to do with you ever again!"

Ethan storms off.

"Wait! Ethan! It's the truth! I swear it!" Theresa screams after him. "Why won't you believe me?!?!?!"

Exasperated Theresa vows she will catch Gwen and Rebecca in the act.

JT reminds Theresa of her promise to help him out financially, she whips out her checkbook and writes him a check for half of what she promised him.

"You were supposed to make him believe you." Theresa says as she hands JT the check.


Ch.2:

Meanwhile, back in Harmony, Gwen is freaking out, because she thinks that Ethan knows the truth about JT and the Tabloid scandal.

"What are we going to do Mother?!?!" Gwen shrieks. "This is all your fault, I was going to tell Ethan the truth about it a long time ago, but no, you wouldn't have that. You convinced me to keep it a secret, and now look at what has happened! Ethan is going to leave me and take Jane and go back to Theresa for sure! What am I going to do?"

Rebecca is busy trying to get a hold of JT to find out what happened after they were cut off.

"Oh Gwenny, don't worry, I'm sure things aren't as bad as you think. Maybe Ethan didn't believe JT. I mean, Theresita doesn't have the greatest track record with him. She's always trying to pull new things to get him back, perhaps he thinks this is just another one of those stunts." Rebecca replies calmly, as she pours herself a drink.

"I don't know how you can be so calm at a time like this! I have to get out of here! I have to take Jane and get as far away from here as I can!" Gwen starts throwing clothes into her suitcase.

"Oh Gwen, don't be ridiculous, let me see what happened with JT, before you don anything rash." Rebecca continues dialing her cell phone.

Back in Rome, Theresa devastated at Ethan's reaction vows revenge.

"I can't believe he doesn't believe me after all this! Doesn't he know that everything I have done has been for him, and because I love him? How could he say such horrible things?" she cries to herself.

Fancy walks in and sees how upset Theresa is and asks what happened. Theresa of course relates the whole story to her. Fancy can't believe that JT confessed the truth.

"He really said that Gwen and Rebecca sent him the information about Ethan's paternity? And he still didn't believe you? Typical! Guys are such pigs! You should leave him Theresa! Why would you want to go back to a man like that? You deserve so much better! In fact, Who needs men to make them happy?!?!" Fancy says trying to console Theresa.

"You know something Fancy, You're right! Why am I wasting my time with Ethan when clearly he doesn't want to believe in me or our love. I can't believe I wasted so much time with him and had a child with him. I am going to prove that Rebecca and Gwen sent that information to the tabloids and then I'm never going to speak to him again!" Theresa says resolutely.

"That's the spirit Theresa!" Fancy encourages her.

"But what about you and Noah? Don't you still love him? I mean I know that he has really been terrible, but don't you still feel like you should be together?"

"Of course, he really hurt me and I don't think I can ever forgive him for that. I still love him, after all, he was my first love..." sighing Fancy. "But I can't waste my life with a loser who treats me that way. Actually, I've been starting to have some feelings for someone else." Fancy hints.

"Really? Who?!?!?" Theresa Exclaims, "You have to tell me! I'm dying to hear who you've found."

"I'm not sure I want to tell anyone yet... Well, you'll probably find out sooner or later... It's your brother, Luis. He has been staying with me and protecting me. He makes me feel so safe, and we have this connection."

"Fancy, are you sure? You know how much Luis loves Sheridan."

"I know, and that's why I've been trying to push this aside, because I know he's here to win back my Aunt Sheridan, but sometimes I think that there is something there between us, " Fancy flashing back to Luis' kiss in the catacombs...

Ch 3:

Back in Harmony...

Cell phone ringing.

"Oh no! Mother! It's Ethan! What do I do?" Gwen panics looking at the ringing cell phone in her hands.

"Stay calm and answer the phone like nothing has happened." instructs Rebecca.

"Hi Honey" Gwen answers nervously.

"Oh Gwen, it is so good to hear your voice. You'll never believe what Theresa did this time."

"What has that little B***h done this time?" Gwen trying to sound more angry than scared.

"she paid off this reporter to tell me that you and your mother sent my paternity results to the tabloids!"

"Did you believe him?"

"of course not! I know you would never do anything like that to me. You're my wife and I love you, and I'm coming home on the next plane. I'm going to take that job offer in Alaska so we can get as far away from Harmony and Theresa as possible!"

"oh Ethan! I love you so much, and I can't wait to see you!" Gwen gushes relieved.

"ok, I'll see you soon, give Jane a big hug and kiss from her daddy, I love you! Bye!"

"Bye sweetheart!"

"oh mother!" Gwen gloats, "We got away with it! I can't believe we got away with it! He thinks Theresa paid off the reporter to tell him a story about the paternity results!"

"I told you not to worry about it Gwenny." Rebecca smiles slyly, "He'll never know the truth, we destroyed all the evidence and Ethan doesn't believe a word out of that little Tacosita's mouth! Soon you'll be in Alaska far away from here and any chance of finding out the truth."

"I can't wait! I'm going to start packing for Alaska now!" Gwen smiles gleefully.

Little do Gwen and Rebecca know that Gwen forgot to hang up her cell phone and Ethan has been listening in on their conversation the whole time...


Ch 4:

<In Rome>

The psychic nun runs into Chad on the streets in Rome again.

"Oh my child, have you found the innocent one yet? She is in grave danger." the nun intently looks at Chad.

"no sister, you mean Whitney? I've been searching for her everywhere. What kind of danger is she in? Where can I find her?" Chad asks concerned.

"She is with the EVIL one. He is going to try to harm her, maybe even kill her. You must save her before it is too late. Before secrets and pain come to be."

"Who is the Evil one sister? Where are they? What secrets and what pain?"

"She is where the righteous are resting for eternity. You must stop her, it is a matter of life and death, my dear child."

It dawns on Chad that he and Luis were on the right path in the catacombs.

"I know where she is, thank you sister, I must go now." Chad hurries off to find Luis and Noah.

"Hurry my son, before it's too late!" the nun says as Chad leaves.

Back in the Hotel Luis and Fancy share a romantic meal together chatting about what just happened with Theresa.

"Those Hotchkiss women are pure evil." Luis says glaring, "I knew they were nasty, but this is just unbelievable. I can't believe some one would go so low as to frame someone else in a scandal about Ethan's paternity."

"I know, I just never thought Gwen would do that, Rebecca, yes, Gwen, No. I had always felt sorry for her, because of all the times Theresa had tried to break them up. I wish I had known the truth. I wonder if Ethan will ever find out the truth from them." Fancy says sipping a glass of red wine.

Chad comes flying up to the terrace where Luis and Fancy are enjoying their meal.

"I know where Whitney is! Luis, I need you to help me find her, she's somewhere in the catacombs, we were on the right track before." Chad pants.

"How do you know she's there?" Asks Luis.

"I ran into that old nun again and she said that Whitney was in trouble and she was where the righteous are resting for eternity. That can only mean the catacombs near the Vatican."

"Ok, Chad, let's find Noah and get some supplies before going down there to look for her. We need to make sure that we are more prepared this time." Luis rises.

"No! Luis! You can't go, it's too dangerous! Remember what happened last time you were down there? There was a cave in! I can't lose you to that again!" Fancy cries out grabbing Luis' arm, and then realizing what she just said.

"What do you mean you can't lose me again?"

"Oh, I meant that I don't want to see either of you get hurt or die down there." Fancy says trying to cover up.

"Ok, well, don't worry we'll be prepared this time. Let's go Chad."

"Wait! What about Beth and Marty? I heard that she is supposed to be at this art gallery opening. She mentioned something about it when we were at the club the other night."

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier Fancy?" Luis asks angrily.

"I just remembered her saying it now. I was too shaken after she tried to kill me. I'm so sorry Luis. But you have to go to that opening, you have to find Beth and get Marty back."

"It's ok Fancy, I know you were really shaken by what happened with Beth. I'm sorry I got mad at you." Luis says hugging Fancy, "You're right, I have to go to the art opening, I have to find my son and win back Sheridan. I'm sorry Chad, but I can help you find Whitney after I get Marty back."

"It's ok Luis, you have to find your son, I'll find Noah and we'll look for Whitney. Thanks anyways. I hope you find Beth and Marty soon."

"Thanks Chad, I'll have my walkie talkie on, so if you get in trouble call me right away. I'll do what ever I can to help you from up here. Good luck."

Chad runs off to find Noah.


Ch 5:

Somewhere in the Catacombs...

Whitney returns from the Pope's chamber with the chalice tucked safely in her bag. She checks over her shoulder to make sure no one is following her. She has a bad feeling about what she has just done, but she tries to convince herself that she is doing the Lord's work and saving the church.

"What have I done? Why do I feel like something terrible is about to happen?" Whitney muses aloud to herself. "What if the monk really is evil? He can't be, he's been so scarred from doing the Lord's work. Then why can't I shake this feeling?"

Meanwhile, AC aka the Monk, waits anxiously for Whitney's return. He watches the computer screen and checks in on what everyone in Harmony is doing.

"ha ha ha" Alistair cackles to himself, "If these stupid little pawns only knew what was really going on. I am about to destroy all their lives, and enjoy watching it happen. Dear little sister Whitney has no idea what she has just done, and the evil she is about to unleash on all her family and friends, all because she is determined to save Chad and her souls... Ha ha ha ha!"

Chad and Noah search the catacombs and find more walls and items with the Omega symbol on them. They continue to follow the symbol deeper and deeper into the catacombs.

"We're on the right path Noah, come on, we have to hurry, we have to find Whitney before it's too late!"

"Are you sure Chad? I have a bad feeling about this." Noah questions.

"I know we're close I can sense her here. We have to keep moving and stick together so nothing happens. This way! There's another symbol over here, on this wall!" Chad points to a web covered, dusty wall with the symbol imprinted on it.

Chad and Noah examine the symbol closely noticing that there is something different about this one than the others that they have seen...


Ch 6:

"Oh my Gosh, what have I done?!?!" Ethan exclaims. "Theresa was telling the truth all along! I have to find her and let her know that I know the truth, that she was right! I just hope it's not too late..."

Ethan grabs his coat and runs out the door to search for Theresa.

"Hello, Mama?" Theresa phones from the crane jet, "I'm on my way home. I can't stay here any longer, I need to get home to little Ethan and Jane."

"Oh Theresa, what's happened Mi Hija?" Pilar replies with a concerned face.

"Mama, it was awful! I found the tabloid reporter who broke the story of Ethan's paternity, and he admitted the whole thing! I heard Rebecca on his answering machine begging him to not tell anyone about what they did."

"Well, isn't that a good thing? Were you able to get the evidence you need to prove your story to Ethan?"

"Not exactly mama. You see, we were at this art gallery opening and JT was there, so we cornered him and he ran. We were able to catch up to him and he finally admitted the truth to Ethan. The only problem was that Ethan didn't believe him. He thought that I had set it all up and paid off JT to tell him a story. He said he never wants anything to do with me again."

"Well, did you pay off the reporter to tell him that story?" Pilar asks skeptically as she listens to Theresa recount everything.

"Mama! I can't believe you don't believe me either! How could you?!?! I'm telling the truth mama, I did not send that information to the tabloids, Gwen and Rebecca did!" Theresa says near tears.

"Ok, ok, calm down, I believe you. What are you going to do now?"

"I am going to get the proof I need to bring down Gwen and Rebecca, and then I am going to have nothing to do with Ethan any more! I am so mad at him for not trusting in me and our love. How can I be with a man who when faced with the truth, still won't believe me? I'm through with him. I just want to get home and be with little E and Jane and be a family with them."

"Oh Theresa, don't do anything stupid, just let it go and come home. Your babies need their mommy, and we all miss you so much."

"I miss you too mama, but I need to take care of a few things when I get home. I want to see Gwen and Rebecca suffer after all that they have done to me and taken away from me."

"Theresa! You don't mean that, you sound more and more like Alistair! I can't believe what you are becoming! Just let it go." Pilar urges.

"I can't mama, and I am NOTHING like Alistair! He is pure evil, and I am so glad he's in a coma! I hope he dies! I'll be home soon mama! Give little Ethan a big hug and kiss for me and tell him that his mommy will be home to tuck him into bed tonight! I can't wait to see him! I love you mama! Bye!" Theresa hangs up the phone and looks down at her list of things to do.

"The first thing I need to do when I get home is get my daughter away from Gwen. I'll call Judge Reilly now..."

Ethan speeds to the airport just in time to see the Crane Jet take off back to Harmony...


Ch 7:

Cork popping...

"Champagne Gwenny?" Asks Rebecca triumphantly holding up her glass.

"Of course mother, let's toast to Theresa's demise! I just can't believe that Ethan didn't believe JT! I can hardly wait until Ethan comes home and we can be a family with Jane, and move as far away as possible from that [censored]." Gwen agrees toasting her glass.

"What's going on here?!" Ivy walks in seeing Gwen and Rebecca celebrating.

Gwen gets a panicked look on her face, but Rebecca thinking quickly replys with a big fake smile, "We're celebrating Ethan's return home and the fact that he has decided to take that job in Alaska so he and Gwen and Jane can get as far away from Tacosita as possible. He has decided that he wants nothing to do with her anymore!" Rebecca giggles.

"Ethan is coming home?! Oh, that's wonderful, I'll drink to that, and to the fact that he wants nothing to do with that little [censored], Theresa. She has destroyed everything I wanted for my son, when she sent that letter to the tabloids! He should be the heir to the Crane Empire, not that B***H's son."

"Here Here!" responds Rebecca.

Ivy flashes back to the Tabloid front page with the paternity letter, and then she thinks about Sam. "The one good thing that has come of this is that I got Sam back" Ivy thinks to herself, "although it wasn't easy..." she flashes back to the conversations with David about making Grace believe that she was his wife... Ivy quickly snaps back to reality when her cell phone rings

"Sam, honey, what is it?"

"It's Fox, he said something about him and Kay having a huge fight and he's out for blood. We have to find him before he does something he'll regret."

"I'm on my way, I'll meet you down at the docks." Ivy hangs up, drinks the last of her champagne and grabs her purse.

"Ta ta Ivy!" Rebecca calls after her as she sips her glass of champagne.


Ch 8:


Simone, Paloma, and Jessica are waiting in their room for word that it is safe for them to venture out.

"Oh my Gosh, can you believe this trip?" Exclaims Paloma "I an beginning to think that there is a reason that we are all here are the same time."

"I know what you mean, it's as though something big is going to happen and we are all supposed to be here to see it... I wonder what it is." replies Simone.

"Personally, I don't care as long as Spike can't get close to me, I could care less. I just want him to leave me alone for good. I'm so tired of going back to him and having him make me do things that I don't want to do. I hated being a prostitute, it made me feel so dirty and used, plus all those guys kept dying..." Jessica flashes back to the latest dead John.

"I think that someone wants us here, some one like Alistair Crane." Simone states matter of factly.

"How is that possible since Alistair is in a coma?" - Paloma

"You know Alistair, he's capable of almost anything. I mean, look at all the supposedly dead people that really weren't dead, like your father, Katherine, and Rachel. I think that Alistair is alive and well and not in a coma, and I think that he had us all come out here for some sick twisted plan of his." -Simone

"You're probably right Simone, I mean look at how many awful and evil things he's done in the past, why not have something else planned right now. I'm actually kind of scared at that though, because we all know how devious Alistair really is. He could have anything planned. And that e-mail that Theresa got? Maybe we could all die!" -Jessica

Phone ringing

"AHHHH!" scream the girls in unison startled by the phone ringing in the midst of their intense conversation.

"Hello?" answers Simone.

"Daddy?" Simone asks confused, "Why are you calling me, I thought you were mad at me because I'm gay."

"Yes, honey I was, but I am over it now. I think it was just the initial shock of it all. I'm so sorry for being so awful to you. I miss you and love you so much. I hope you can forgive me." TC finally admits.

"Of Course Daddy, I love you too, but you really hurt me when you disowned me for my decision."

"I know sweetheart, and I am so sorry for that. I'll never forgive myself for the way I treated you, your mother, and your sister. I have really been doing a lot of soul searching lately and have come to a lot of realizations." TC replies sadly.

"Like what?"

"Well, I'd rather not go into that right now over the phone with you, maybe I can meet you for some gelatto at the stand around the corner from your hotel?" TC says smiling.

"What?!" Shouts Simone, "Daddy! Are you in Rome too? When did you get here? Why did you come? Are you alone?"

"Whoa, sweetheart, too many questions, let's just meet, and I'll fill you in on everything. I love you sweetheart."

"I love you too Daddy, I'll see you in 5 min." Simone excitedly hangs up the phone.

"What was that all about?" questions Paloma.

"You'll never believe this, my dad is in Rome and he wants me to forgive him for being so mean to me. He wants to meet me for gelato around the corner at the gelato stand." replies Simone.

"You're not going are you?" asks Jessica, "It's not safe for us to go out alone, you saw what happened last time. Besides, why won't he come here to talk to you?"

"I don't know, but I told him that I'd meet him, and I'm going. It's been too long since we spoke last, and I'm not going to miss this chance to mend things with my dad." Simone grabs her purse and starts walking to the door. "Besides, I'll be just around the corner, it's not like I'm going to the ruins or anything, and my dad will be there too, so I won't be alone. You two worry too much!"

"I still don't think you should go" states Jessica.

"Me too" chimes Paloma.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine...See you girls in a little while." Simone closes the door behind her.

Jessica looks at the desk and notices that Simone left her cell phone. She grabs it and runs to the door after her. "Simone!!! Simone!!! You forgot your phone!" shouting down the hallway. It's too late, Simone is already on the elevator down to the lobby to meet TC.


Ch 9:

"I just can't believe how wrong I was about father! Usually my feelings are right, I just don't understand! I was sure that he was out of his coma and tormenting people again!" Sheridan exclaims baffled. "I mean, I saw him lying in that bed, and I saw Dr.Eve check his vitals, but I don't believe that was him lying there!"

"Honey, you know that is your father there. He's been under the care of all the nurses and the doctors since New Year's Eve when he was stabbed. There is no way that he could be out of his coma." Chris responds slyly, yet trying to be comforting to his wife.

"I know Chris, but still, I just have this feeling that something is not right. I'm going to go back in and check on him again." Sheridan rises to leave.

"No sweetheart, I can't let you do that. You need to rest for the baby. I'll check on him myself and call you." As Chris makes Sheridan more comfortable. "Here, let me get you some tea and cookies, you just rest here, I'll be right back, and then I'll go check on your father."

"Thanks Chris, you're the best! I am kind of tired, and could probably use the rest." Sheridan smiles as she sits on the couch to rest.

"Be right back." Chris walks into the cottage's kitchen to prepare a plate of cookies and cup of tea. He pulls a little vial of powder from his pocket and stirs it into Sheridan's cup of tea. "This should help her relax more." Chris thinks to himself as he brings the tray of food out to Sheridan.

"Thank you so much, the tea is so delicious and really hits the spot. I didn't realize how tired I was until now. Maybe I'll just lay down for a little bit..." Sheridan drops the teacup and passes out on the couch.

Chris grabs his coat and runs out the door to the nursing home where Alistair is in a coma...


Ch 10:

As Whitney navigates her way through the catacombs, Alistair aka the Monk, continues to carry out his evil plans.

"Once I have that Chalice, all the power in the world will be mine! I will rule all! ha ha ha ha ha!" Alistair evilly laughs. "these idiots from Harmony will finally, know what pain and heartache really means. Whitney is almost here. Little does she realize what's about to happen, she's so concerned with saving Chad and her souls that she's blind to see what is plainly in front of her! I love it! To be able to use her as a pawn in my ultimate plan! ha ha ha ha!"

Tabitha meanwhile is watching everything in her bowl back in Harmony.

"Endora, dear, just look at all the pain and heartache that is going on! Isn't it wonderful?" Tabitha says gleefully.

<Bubble thought> "Just wait mommy... things are not in motion yet." Endora replies with an impish grin.

"Now what is that evil Alistair Crane up to now? I wonder if the citizens of Harmony know that he is really the Monk? Poor Sheridan has no idea that her dreams are right, and that her evil father is running amuck causing all sorts of pain and anguish! ha ha! Oh Endora!" Tabitha continues to bask in the events of the day. "What's this? Sister Whitney has retrieved the Chalice? She's on her way back to the Monk with it? Oh NO! Endora, this is very bad for all of us, not just the people of Harmony but for us as well! What are we going to do? If Alistair gets his hands on that Chalice we are done for!"

<bubble thought> "Where's my mermaid?" Endora thinks happily playing with her mermaid doll...


Ch 11:

As Chad and Noah examine the symbol closely, they notice something is very different about this symbol.

?It looks as though you put your hands in the symbol and move it Noah.? Chad says tracing the deep grooves of the symbol with his index finger.

?Yeah, go ahead and try it, I?m not touching that thing. We have no idea what could happen if we try something like that, I mean, there could be spikes that come out of the floor or something, maybe the room will fill with sand and we will suffocate to death. I?m not touching it, but if you want to go right ahead. I?ll just be way over here watching you.? Noah responds backing way up.

?Ok, well I?m going to try turning it to see what happens. Here goes nothing.? Chad says tentatively as he inserts his fingers into the symbol and pushes it.

The symbol gives way and Chad turns it clockwise. The wall moves back and a secret passage is revealed. Both men step back and wait for something to happen?

After about 5 minutes of waiting for something, Chad turns to Noah and says: ?I think we should go in, I think Whitney is in there.?

?Are you crazy, it?s dark, and there are dead people everywhere down here, why would you want to go in to a ?wall? passage when we have no idea who or what may be in there, not to mention we have no idea where it leads to. What if we get lost or God forbid something happens to us down here. NO one will be able to find us. I mean, I know that you?re trying to find Whitney, and I can appreciate that and support that, but I think it?s too dangerous, I thin we should get some back up before going in there.? Noah says skeptically.

?Well, I?m going. I know that Whitney is in there and she needs our help. She?s in danger, and I intend on finding her before something terrible happens. Besides, Luis knows we?re down here and I have my walkie talkie so I can call him if something happens and we need help. Are you coming or not?? Chad grabs his flashlight and starts to make his way into the passageway.

?Yeah, I?m coming, hold up, I just have to grab my gear.? Noah shouts after Chad as he grabs his pack of things and runs after Chad into the passageway?


Ch 12:

As Ethan watches the Crane Jet take off he falls to the ground in grief.

?What am I going to do? I just lost the woman I love forever because I couldn?t trust her even though she was telling me the truth. I can?t believe I wasted my time with that lying B****h Gwen!? Ethan says aloud anger starting to well up in him. ?I wonder if Gwen was ever going to tell me the truth about the Tabloids. Our whole lives together and marriage was based on lies. She knows how much I hate lies and people who tell them. How could she?!?!?

Ethan gets back up to his feet and decides that he needs to take action. He is so angry he can hardly contain himself and he punches his fist through a car window. He pulls his hand out now covered in blood and glass and goes to the doctor?s to get it bandaged up.

?The first thing I need to do is to come up with a plan to catch Gwen and Rebecca in the lie.? Thinks Ethan.

?Hello Mother?? Ethan calls on his cell phone ?You?re where? What?s wrong with Fox??

?He and Kay had a huge fight and he?s out for blood. Sam and I are trying to find him now before anything happens.? Ivy says as she drives to the docks. ?What?s wrong Ethan? What has Theresa done this time??

?It?s not what Theresa has done, it?s what Gwen and Rebecca have done, Mom.? Ethan replies.

?What do you mean what Gwen and Rebecca have done.? Ivy says surprised.

?I heard them, they were the ones who sent my paternity information to the Tabloids! I called Gwen to tell her that I thought Theresa had paid off this JT guy, who?s the reporter who broke the story, to say that they had sent the letter. Gwen played it off, and acted as though I was right and that this was just another one of Theresa?s stunts to try and get me to come back to her. When we said good bye she forgot to hang up her cell phone and that?s when I heard it. Rebecca and Gwen started celebrating that they had gotten away with it. They were the ones who sent the letter to the tabloids and framed Theresa to take the fall!?

?What!!!!??? Shouts Ivy, ?Are you sure you heard correctly? I mean, paying off the reporter does sound like something that Theresa would do??

?Mother, I know what I heard, and it was clear that they were the ones who sent all the information to the Tabloids. I was just as shocked as you, now I am furious and I need help with a plan of mine to get back at Gwen and Rebecca.? Ethan pleads.

?Ethan, I?ll do anything you want. What ever you need for me to do, I?ll do it.? Ivy says angrily. Ivy is so angry that tears start to well in her eyes, she has to pull the car over because she realizes all the things that she has done to sabotage her son?s happiness and it all started from the tabloid story.

Ch 13:

Theresa anxiously watches out the window as the Crane jet in en route to Harmony. She can hardly wait to see little Ethan and Jane. All she wants to do is to forget about Rome and everything that happened and focus on her children, and gaining custody of Jane back. Anger again wells up with in her as she thinks about her last conversation with Ethan and his lack of trust in the truth.

?You?re going down Gwen and Rebecca, if it?s the last thing I do.? Theresa glares ? I will see that Ethan knows the truth, and you are going to be the ones to tell him.? She smiles as a plan begins to form in her mind. ?Just wait to see what I have in store for the two of you, when I get through with you, there will be nothing left for you, no home, no Ethan, no Jane, no job, and no hope!?

Theresa giggles quietly to herself as she thinks about the revenge she is going to take. Then a sadness begins to overwhelm her as she remembers the love she lost in Ethan. ?No, I am not going to think about Ethan any more! I have had enough of his flip flopping between me and Gwen, and his lack of faith in our love. No MORE! I won?t allow myself to be dragged back into things with him again. I am through with him.?

?First things first, I have to get Jane back. That will get the ball rolling on my plan.? Theresa picks up her cell phone and dials.

Meanwhile, Rebecca and Gwen continue to toast to their success, completely oblivious to the fact that their worlds are about to come crumbling down around them.

?Oh Gwenny! I told you there was nothing to worry about! See? Ethan would never believe Theresa over you, and once you are in Alaska, she?ll never be able to bother you again.? Rebecca states triumphantly.

?Your right Mother. I doubted you at first, but you were right! The only thing that I am worried about is Jane. Theresa is technically her biological mother, what if she tries to take Jane away?? Gwen says all of a sudden concerned. ?I couldn?t bear to lose my daughter.?

?Don?t worry about that Gwen, I have a plan to keep Theresa from ever taking Jane from you.? Rebecca says cunningly.

?What do you have planned this time mother?!? Gwen skeptically looks at her mother with grave concern.

?Oh Gwen, you?ll see, don?t worry about a thing, I?ll take care of everything!? Rebecca smiling as she raises her glass for a toast.


Ch 14:

Luis and Fancy walk into the masquerade gallery opening, each one looking amazing in their evening wear.

?We have to keep our eyes peeled for Beth and Marty. She could be anywhere and dressed in anything. We have to be on our guard Fancy. Stay close where I can keep an eye on you.? Luis whispers to Fancy, who smiles at the thought of being close to Luis.

?Ok, but I really think that you should use me as bait to lure her out. You know she already thinks that we are an item, if she sees us together she just may do something to identify herself.? Fancy whispers back.

?It?s too dangerous, I won?t put you in that kind of danger.? Luis replies holding her hand firmly.

?It?s ok Luis, I have you to protect me, I know that you wouldn?t let anything happen to me.? Fancy says reassuringly. ?Now please, let me be bait so we can find Beth and you can get your son Marty back.?

?I don?t feel too comfortable with this plan Fancy, but I?ll go along with it, because we need to find Beth. The sooner I can find her, the sooner I can get my son back, and the sooner I can get back to Harmony and win Sheridan back.? Luis says.

Fancy?s heart drops a bit as Luis brings up Sheridan again. She reminds herself that Luis is in love with her Aunt Sheridan and that she can?t let her feelings for Luis develop any more than friends.

Luis and Fancy mingle through the crowd looking for Beth but keeping a casual appearance up. Both sip on champagne and enjoy tasty hors d?ourves.

Beth spots Luis and Fancy together. She grips the knife in her satchel tight as she looks on with hate. ?You will be with me Luis, I?ll make sure of that, once I kill this blonde bimbo, we can be together with our son Marty.?

Fancy thinks she spots Beth lurking in the corner watching them together. She pulls Luis into a hot and steamy kiss. Beth lurches forward in rage screaming: ?Die blondie, Die you B***h!?

?Fancy! Look out!? Luis pushes Fancy aside.

Beth ends up stabbing Luis in the shoulder as he moves to protect Fancy. ?Luis!? Beth scream in panic, ?Luis, why did you protect her? I love you, and I didn?t want to hurt you!? Beth on the ground crying and trying to tend to Luis.

?Where?s? My? Son?!? Luis grabs Beth and growls at her.

?Ahhh!? Beth screams and frees herself from Luis? grip. ?You?ll never take my son away from me! He?s my Son, mine! Not Sheridan?s, Marty is MY SON!? And she runs out the door of the gallery.

Luis gets up as Fancy helps him to his feet. ?We need to get you to a doctor Luis!? Fancy exclaims.

?No I?m fine Fancy, I have to catch Beth!? Luis pushes Fancy to the side and runs after Beth, Fancy quickly follows behind him.

Ch 15:

Paloma and Jessica wait anxiously for Simone to return from her meeting with TC.

?I just can?t believe she went by herself knowing how dangerous it is out there.? Paloma says concerned.

?I know what you mean Paloma. I mean what was she thinking? I know it?s her dad and all, and things have been really rough between them lately, but still. What if it wasn?t her dad and just someone pretending to be her dad so they could lure her out and then attack?? Jessica replies in a panicked tone. ?Oh my Gosh Paloma, what if something has happened to Simone? She can?t even call for help because she left her cell phone here! We should go and check on her at the gelato stand!?

?Calm down Jess, she?s only been gone for about 20 min. She and her father have a lot to catch up on, I?m sure she?s fine. I think if she were in danger we would have heard her scream or something.? Paloma says reassuring herself.

?Maybe you?re right, but I still think we should go and check on her.? Jessica replies calming down.

?You know what your brother Noah said, we need to stay here until we know that it is safe to go out.?

?Yes, but if we stay together, we should be ok, besides we can leave a message for Noah letting him know where we are, and we have our phones so he can always call us if he gets worried.? Jess says grabbing her purse and phone.

?Ok Jess, let?s go, but let?s tell the front desk where we?re at, so if anyone is looking for us, they will know where we are.? Paloma agrees grabbing her things.

Simone excitedly hurries down the street to the gelato stand where she spots her father T.C. waving to her.

?Daddy!? Simone exclaims happily running up to T.C. giving him a big hug.

?Sweetheart! It?s so good to see you! I?ve missed you so much.? TC responds with a big hug and kiss on the cheek.

?Why didn?t you want to meet us in the hotel room?? Simone asks

?Because it is so beautiful out today, and I really wanted to enjoy Rome with my baby girl.? TC says sweetly.

?Oh daddy, I missed you so much. I really missed our conversations. We used to talk for hours, until that whole thing with Whitney and Chad, and then you and Aunt Liz, and then me coming out. I just wish things could be the way they were?? Simone says wistfully.

?I?m sure they will be soon sweetheart.? TC replies with a knowing smile. ?Let?s get some gelato and go for a walk.?

?What are you saying Kay? That I?m blind?? Fox snaps back angrily, ?Do you think I don?t know what I just saw and what is going on here? I know you?re still in love with Miguel, I?m not stupid!?

?No Fox, I love you, I was just concerned for Miguel because of Siren. I just don?t trust her. I know she?s a mermaid, I saw her change! Why don?t you believe me?? Kay questions back.

?Kay, you and I both know that mermaids don?t exist. Quit using Siren as an excuse for your actions.? Fox getting angrier by the second.

?But it?s true! Tabitha told me, and I saw her! I know what I saw Fox!? Kay replies desperately.

?Tabitha?? Fox looks quizzically at Kay, ?Why would Tabitha say that Siren is a mermaid??

Kay searching for a story to cover up her slip?

?Um?? Because she saw Siren change too!? Kay retorts quickly.

?Then why didn?t she say anything?? Fox snaps.

?I don?t know, maybe because of how you?re reacting right now. She probably thinks you will think she?s a crazy old lady and have her committed to the loony bin with Norma.? Kay responds.

?I guess that makes sense, but it still doesn?t explain what you were doing with Miguel. It looked like you were kissing each other, and don?t tell me that it was a mouth to mouth resuscitation. I know what I saw and there is no excuse for that.? Fox angrily scolds Kay.

?Wait, Fox, I can explain everything.? Miguel interrupts.

?Please do, I?m just dying to know what happened between you two.? Fox responds even more angry now.

?Me too? Chimes Siren.

?Well, I kissed Kay. She didn?t want me to, but I did. I just was overwhelmed when I thought about all she?s been through and how great a job she?s done raising our daughter, Maria, and I just couldn?t help myself. I am so sorry, it won?t happen again. Besides, I?m really starting to fall for you, Siren.? Miguel explains.

?Really?? Siren replies with a growing smile on her face.

?Yes really, I don?t want to ever hurt you again. I am so sorry Siren.? Miguel leans over and kisses Siren passionately.

?You kissed Kay?? Fox questions. He steps forward and punches Miguel hard across the chin. ?I can?t believe you kissed my Fianc?e!? And he continues to attack Miguel.

?Stop hitting my love!? Cries Siren. She jumps between the two fighting men to try and break things up.

?Fox! That?s enough! It was just an innocent kiss, no harm done! It?s over. Besides Miguel likes Siren now, even though I know she?s lying to him!? Kay pleads with Fox.

Siren again loses her balance and falls into the water immediately growing her tail back. This time everyone sees what happens.

?No, he?s the same. We have monitored his vitals, and everything is stable, he is just in a very deep coma. I would be surprised if he ever comes out of it, to be quite honest.? Nurse Mae replies matter-of-factly.

?Good, the less harm he can do to me and my wife Sheridan.? Chris smiles, ?I?d like to see him if you don?t mind.?

?Sure, I?ll take you to his room, he may be out for another CAT scan of his brain, but he should be wheeled back into his room shortly.? Nurse Mae guides Chris through the nursing home halls.

?Fine, I just want to make sure he?s still here.? Chris replies.

?Oh, he?s still here alright. He?s not going anywhere in the near future.? Nurse Mae states. ?Here we are?

Believe it or not, I have fallen in love with Sheridan, and I?ll be damned if anyone is going to ruin that for me. I?ll do anything to keep my identity a secret, including working for Alistair Crane. You old man will stay here until your ?wife? Theresa, decides to pull the plug on you, at which time Alistair will be free to do as he pleases under the cover of his ?death?. And you, well, you can just pray that some unforeseen force intervenes on your behalf.?

Chris leans back and notices the corner of the man?s prosthetic mask is coming up. He reaches into his pocket with facial glue and presses it back in place so that no one would be the wiser. He makes sure that the man is still unconscious one more time and laughs at his work.
