Hi. Just thought I'd say hello. I've just watched the finale - and it's left me grief-stricken. Really, it has. I had no idea that I would be affected in this way. The story has ended. I don't know what else to say. I'm not the sort of person to become so attached to a TV show - it just isn't me. I'm 24 and I guess the show had more of an impact in my formative 'coming-out' years than I thought.
Any thoughts?
Kind regards.
Karl. xx

If you are 24 now W&G probably had a huge impact on you through your late teens and early 20s, a time of change for anyone. Its funny how things form and change us without us knowing, i am sure W&G helped your confidence and helped you grow more than you were aware. I am so proud of what the show was able to accomplish. It brought gay characters into the spotlight in a way that was brilliantly funny and non-threatening, and in turn educated people without being preachy. The show was simply brilliant! We are all going to miss it! However, i noticed that you are from the UK. Us over here on this side of the pond are crazy jealous that you have almost all the seasons on DVD. We are still waiting for season 5! If you don't have the seasons on DVD i highly recommend buying them, that way it doesn't really have to be over. This message board is an awesome way to keep W&G alive too!
