Ok, so I know you guys have your favorites. And I don't just mean "Who did you think was the best?" I'd like to know who stood out from each show as your favorite performance...let me know if you think they were the best performance, the worst performance, the most outrageous performance or simply the most memorable.
You've got opinions and I wanna hear about them, so post your thoughts after every episode!!!

Definitely not the worst, but close to it. The Gong show revisited with Regis Philbin replacing Chuck Barris. The same type of panel as American Idol, a Brit, a minority female, and a retreaded soap star/TV star(even though he is trying the big screen). Can't NBC come up with something original?

The talented old male stripper was definately the worst performance of the night for me. Can we just vote him off now and get it over with?
We never got so see or hear what the "singing saw" could do... and we'll never know if he was good or not either.
I'd like to see more of "Sid the Kid" performing although I wasn't sure if she was funny or not... I did find her to be cute and hope to see her have different comic material next time.
The snapper guy was different... The talking Parot was cool!... The young girl singer was Okay. The jymnist in white was aiight.... The dancing juggler was awsome...
And the best has yet to be seen or heard since it is only the show's first premier.

How can you say who was the best and worst, when you didn't even get to see all the acts. There were acts that made it through that didn't even get shown. Not even on the internet. You think they would put that acts on line that aren't on t.v. as well. You would think they would spare us from having to watch the same crap over and over again.

well, you just liked everything didn't you? You were just too nice, and as for Sid the Kid. She wasn't funny, not worth a $1000000 funny. And sure almost every kid is cute, being cute isn't worth $1000000 either. And the parot, like the britain said it's a parot, it's suppose to be taught to do things, any parot trainer can do it.

That is funny, but you know what you are absolutely right. There is no way to put one talent up against another. You cant take a 25 year old woman singing and put her up against a 8 year old comedian. You just cant. How can you put a parot up against a juggler, or Alexis Jordan up against a snapper guy. How can you compare the two talents when they are two different talents?

Best -
1. Handbalancer. That just rocked.
2. Viktor Kee Impersonator (aka Dancing Juggler) - He Was Good.
3. Wildlife Wendy. I still can't believe she didn't get through
Worst-
1. Dog Act. That sucked
2. Stripper Dude. Ewww.
3. Impersenator Person.

Best: the dog act
Worst: 65-year-old stripper

Id have to say my favorites were definently the ventriloquist and the dog act. Unfortunantly i started watching about 45 mins into it so i dunno about the earlier acts. The ventriloquist dude was awesome, especially the godzilla act he performed or w/e. I also really liked the dog act it was unique from any other animal act, not just on this show, but from any ive ever seen. They were trained to do one step after the other without making a single mistake, with NO signals(at least from what i saw) from the man to perform another trick, he just began and followed through to the end. This is different from the bird act, where she just said a phrase to signal what the bird had to say. Yes id must have taken work, but it didnt have as much potential as the dog act. Ah, the rapping granny was alrite. Every one was rooting her, so i expected more than ithought id hear, somethin like Twista lol. As for the worst, id say the friggen nose flut i mean what the hell. If you could sing a little faster maybe id be nice, or even have a nicer sound to the ears. The balloon act was a lil lame near the end too.
Even though there are amazing unique talents out there, and on the show, im convinced that the winner will be mainstream crap. aka SINGERS. i mean i liked the ventriloquist more than any of the singers, but anyways we'll see.

My favorite best was Bernie the oldest male stripper.
He is so hot!
My favorite "worst" was Eddie Haskell and the singing saws. The judges should have given him more time. The poor guy did not have a fair chance! There were people a lot more annoying and less talented than him! (For instance the first juggler who dropped everything)

i guess i stand alone when i say...i thought At Last was by far the best...yeah i know its just singing...and i hate that they were my favorite because we have all seen eleventy billion singers via american idol and the like, and i didnt want to like a singing act. but these guys were just awesome, different than most because of their combination of harmony and beatboxing... no instruments. big fan.
worst had to be the "shadow dancers" why we sat through that and they didnt get buzzed, but we didnt even get to see the saw guy perform for more than 10 seconds is beyond me. oh and i hate the "photo gallery" feature...its just the hosts, producers, and judges...not anyone with any actual talent lol.

commercials made me leave the channel, 5-6 commercials after each act, more minutes on commercials than actually on the show, maybe they will change that a little

Ditto regarding the judges, they should be replaced, especially David H. the absolutely worst of the worst. Talk is he was drunk because who else would want a 65 yr old man to take his pants off in front of all the kids? Unless he has other issues!

Few suggestions: 1. you don't need Regis. He's annoying. 2. Who picked those judges? America really doesn't care what a British newspaper guy thinks. Hasselhoff? Please! He's a B-grade actor at best. Brandy? Not exactly articulate. What was your criteria for judges? First available? Good idea, poorly executed.

The worst by far was "Sid the Kid." Horrible delivery (rehearsed/canned), not funny and insulted Afr Amer women!! I cannot believe her mother, who is Afr Amer, would allow her 8-yr-old to say something so degrading and judgmental for the sake of a laugh. No one in the audience laughed for the last 30 seconds of her act and no-talent Brandy gave her accolades. Does Brandy not know she is Afr Amer as well? Probably not. This kid needs to get a new act and talent.
No favorites. I won't be watching again.

The 14-year-old singer was the worst for me. Not that she isn't talented and such (she can sing but is not a Whitney's level, not even close) - just that it is tiresome. There are far too many "Whitney clones" - that's all it is these days. Wannabes that try to clone already established stars. Where is the originality?
And this is a talent show for everyone - singing is done - it's called American Idol. I don't need another American Idol - so this 14-year-old should keep practicing, gain strength in her voice, then compete in American Idol in a few years.

Yeah, I thought Alexis was really good for 14, but is she a star...would I want to go to a concert or show all of her or buy a record....definitely not. She started out a little flat and shakey and then did well, but it just seems I've seen a lot of really good, but inconsistent 13-16 year old singers in recent years. I think that the winner should be someone that you'd want to go see a whole show of regardless of age. Same goes for rappin granny. Only thing I saw so far that would make me want to buy a ticket was the balancing hand guy...kind of cirque de soleil, but I wanted to see more.

The two acts I enjoyed the most were Syd The Kid and Alexis Jordan. Tremendous potential in both kids.
The judges stink. I doubt any of the three would recognize talent if it bit them on the wazoo. Fire all three and get decent, competent judges.

Last post was dead on... these guys need to stop trying to remake the gong show w/ talent thats subpar, to say the least. For me the coolest, was the guy w/ the puppets.. and the Asian singing group , but lets face it, an asian singing group ain't gonna cut it in America... anybody remember the Jets ( yeah ! yeah ! i know they wern't Asian )..Thats my thoughts on that... The Mango.

The second show was horrible. Or does the East Coast have no talent? Please, NBC, get rid of Regis Philbin, Brandy, Hasselhoff, and that Brit guy. AND FIND SOME PEOPLE WITH REAL TALENT!

This has to be the worst show EVER! At least on the Gong show the gongs (3Xs) meant something! What is with the judges changing their minds about certain acts and giving them a 2nd chance??? Get rid of the judges and maybe I'll watch this show again.

Alright, I first want to agree with the post that there are way too many diverse talents to make this an easy competition to decide who is the one deserving of that money. That is also however, what makes it interesting and enjoyable. If the audience votes with the talent in mind and not by appearance or "other qualities" the winner should be amazing.... which brings me to the reason I decided to post... THE STRIPPERS. I had the pleasure of missing the 'old guy', but I did get to see the 'dollface'. Give me a break. If that's talent.. taking off the clothes.. and with no original dance mind you, then majority of America should be on stage winning a million bucks. That completely made me lose all respect for the two male judges. I'm glad Brandy showed everyone she has class and beeped the second buzzer!! Buisness lady, keep your talent for yourself please!

Nice to finally see some new stuff, but I thought this was a family show. I do not want my kids viewing strippers on prime time TV (male or female)! I am appalled that NBC would allow this smut!

well said Eddie Haskell. I'm sure the show is encouraging a lot of cookie cutter performances, discouraging use of originals. I still hope for the best from this...tonight gave me more hope...more respect for the acts with a couple of exceptions instead of a lot....some really unique things and I'm eager to see next week. As somewhat of a patron of emerging artists, I do like the ability of this show to jump start the career of some really unique talents flying under the industry radar. The point you made so eloquently though is the broader benefit of Art to the community and the benefit to children of seeing the truely unique and imaginative.
I really hope that at the end, there are some really unique things that find an audience on this and that it's not just another singer doing broadway or cover tunes without playing an instrument or writing or choreographing or doing something truely unique...truely Artistic.
In the meantime, Mr. Haskell has proven himself to be a true Artist.

well tonight's episode had several acts that outdid everything last week, especially the 11 year old girl. She was far far better. Yes Alexis last week was good for her age but not great. The 11 year old on episode 2 is 10 times better...and not just for her age. I can't wait to see what's on next week now...I wished the 11 yr old (something Ryan) was on Idol instead cause I she's the best so far but I have to say that I REALLY want to see something other than another singer win this....someone multitalented....that can sing/play/write or dance/sing or something different or just more than just more singers. But I did think the 11 year old was best so far. I guess so far I would vote for the Ryan girl, but I hope to see something next week that is a show stopper that's more than just another singer...whose whole show I'd want to see. I doubt that as good as she is....that I want to go spend money on a ticket to see a whole show of an 11 year old singer. I would vote for her so far and would love to see her on Broadway as a part of a bigger show, but for this competition, I am still hoping to be wowed next week by something other than just another singer.

Bianca Ryan.. what is the name of the difficult song she sang? Only those with voices like that can do it. She "can go far" but talent isn't enough without motivation and the guts to stick with it. She's a natural singer, thats why she sounds like that at such a young age. Anyone talented is usually born that way. Hey, the shows interesting. Bring back the stripper. lmao!

Yes I agree. The men were all for the women performers and the woman judge liked all the men. What's up with that? Sex should have no bearing. And what was that comment that woman said "Put your clothes back on"??? Hello. What is wrong with that Snow White dancing/stripping? Although I think she would do VERY WELL on VH1's Dance Off Pants off. I love that show.
