Last night's show reminded me how much fun it was to watch the Ed Sullivan show every Sunday night!! It also reminded me how much I miss that kind of show and how instead we have all these off the wall Reality Shows... Fear Factor, Bah Humbug!!!

I agree, castlequeen. I liked my first taste of the show. The Ted Mack Amateur Hour comes to mind.

WHY THE HELL ARE PEOPLE SAYING THAT THE SHOW IS JUST ANOTHER "AMERICAN IDOL" WHEN SIMON COWELL IS THE FREAKIN PRODUCER OR WATEVER WHO HIRED THESE THREE PEOPLE TO JUDGE! IF HE WANTS IT THAT WAY THAN SO BE IT.. OBVIOUSLY IT HAS SOME SIMILARITIES TO AMERICAN IDOL BUT JUST THINK AGAIN THAT SIMON COWELL IS INVOLVED..
IM ACTUALLY GLAD THAT A SHOW LIKE THIS CAME UP WHERE IT SHOWS MULTIPLE FREAKIN TALENTS AND NOT JUST SINGING!!! YOU KNOW HOW MANY OTHER TALENTS THERE ARE OUT THERE!
NOW I DO AGREE IN ONE THING: WHICH IS THAT THEY SHOULD GIVE MORE TIME FOR THE PEOPLE TO PERFORM BECAUSE WE DON'T GET TO SEE MUCH OF THE SUCKY ONES SUCH AS THE SINGING SAW OR THE OLD LADIES WHO SUNG.. THEY GOT TO CHANGE THAT A LITTLE CAUSE ITS PRETTY SAD HOW PROBABLY THOSE PPL WORKED HARD TO APPEAR AND DONT EVEN GET A 5 SEC. CHANCE

I wish my performance was edited but you saw exactly what happened at the taping. You didn't even see my show and called me sucky, are you looking for a job as a judge on the show ? from your comment you sound qualified already. This show has the makings of being something whose time has come....something really stellar to showcase our many, many talented men and women. But it feels thrown together. Very rough hewn. Regis Philbin as host? Bad choice. Brandy and David Hasselhoff as judges of other people's talent?!!! I don't think so! The producers need to revisit some additional pieces of the show, like whether judges should be allowed to push each other's reject buttons.....basically tighten the show up so it doesn't feel like another Gong Show. America really does have talent! All shapes and sizes of talent. Showcase them with respect.

i wish they would wake up and show us somethin new and different and not the same dang show every time it comes on, i stopped watchin just makes me mad, i have no need for reruns
