It is that time again and the 2006 Primetime Emmy Awards is fast approaching. The nominations will be announced on 6 July (very early in the AM). The following are my nominations and HOPES for a WIN in August at the NBC Live telecast program:

Best Comedy - Will and Grace
Best Director - James Burrows
Best Actor in a Comedy - Eric McCormack
Best Actress in a Comedy - Debra Messing
Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy - Sean Hayes
Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy - Megan Mullally
Best Guest Actor - (Still undecided on this one)
Best Guest Actress - (Still undecided on this one too)
Best Writing - Max Mutchnik and David Kohan (The Finale)

I know that there are other categories such as, Best Set Designer/Set Decorator, Make-up, Hair, Clothes, and I hope that all that work "behind the scenes" at Will and Grace will win their respective categories. Season 8 brought so many episodes that choosing which tapes to submit for consideration is SO SO hard this year. I will be getting behind the entire cast and crew for many, many nominations and LOTS and LOTS of WINS to add to this amazing and groundbreaking Comedy series, to date. My Thursday evening television viewing has a definite void to it with whatever else in on to watch and attempt to catch on to. I truly miss Will and Grace and Jack and Karen and Rosario too and my Thursday's are simply not the same anymore. It is good to see that Eric, Debra, Sean, and Megan have new things upcoming for us to be able to see them "in action" with their individual projects in development, as well as current too. So my support and backing to all for the Emmy's and other awards that this most deserving cast and crew will achieve in the many award shows and presentations that will be coming up soon. I share those EXACT hopes and dreams for emmy night '06, and i am also OHHH SO VERY SURE THAT THOSE HOPES will ACTUALLY be a REALITY bcuz if you racall emmy night '05, right after ending, RAYMOND won the best of the best that night, they won best comdedy, best supporting actor, etc., so what THAT means is that shows that END not so LONG b4 the emmys, will most probably be the winners!!!...........and the writers ALSO wont for the FINALE OF RAYMOND.........so i think that this year will be the most promising for everyone involved in wag.....and i REALLY do wish that Shelley wins SOMETHING, bcuz she definatly deserves to!

I think my favorite Actress on the show was Ellen Degeneres. So funny and ironic that she was a nun on the show...flying nuns!!! ha ha ha...anywho...I was upset that they did not have her on the show again...like on the series finale, it would have been a weird, yet O SO Funny moment...

...as for my favorite guest actor, oh, geese, let me think, so many to choose from...I don't even know where to start...

Congratulations to the cast & directors of 'Will & Grace' because it, in fact, is the 7th of the 7 Top Contenders this time around.

Though before I reveal the categories in which 'Will & Grace' has won nominations in, please keep in mind that E!Online named the nods as: "Emmy Noms Don't Favor Emmy Winners".

The title used by E!Online holds particularyly true for our beloved 'Will & Grace' because it is unfortunately not nominated for the 'Outstanding Comedy Series' category this time. The Emmy committee, for some odd reason, seem to feel that such titles like 'Two & A Half Men', 'The Office', 'Curb Your Enthusiasm', 'Arrested Development', and 'Scrubs' deserved the title more..... Though not a worry, 'Will & Grace' still takes lead with 10 Nominations in total!

I am new to these boards, but not WG..NO outstanding comedy nom??? That is ridiculous. At least Sean and Megan were recognized..frankly although I adore Debra, Grace is not my favorite character..But this is like being mugged. Shame on them..the so called "academy"..
