I was in awe of this young lady's ability to perform with such power that I was brought to tears. I have great admiration for people that recognize talent and little tolerance for those that demean others in public. Brandy was visibly as moved as I was and gracious in her praise. I did agree with the Brit in that her appearance was less than her performance. I would have liked to see her in something with a little more pizazz and jazzy like the piece of music she performed. She was more dressed for a piano recital or a funeral. She may be a little naive in her dress style, but her musical presentation was first class. Congratulations, you are a star in my book.

Her family must be very proud. I for one will never forget that performance. If given the chance, I would buy a copy of that performance!

that girl belted out that sound without any face, tongue, throat movement. If it's real, god bless her, she's awesome. But hard to believe for me and my entire family. If I feel this way I'm sure there is more to come tommorrow!

As I said if it's her, she's great! I was impressed. My family was in 3 different rooms and we all met after saying the same thing. And if we think it, who else does?

This girl was amazing!!!! Its too bad that people have to immediately criticize her. She's 11, and she doesn't need to be dressed like a HO and I'm sure that is coming as she goes through her career. Too Bad. I really enjoyed her.

I hated this show until this little girl performed. It didn't seem like America had much talent but now I realize that it does, and she is it! AMAZING! I can't wait to buy her first album! UNREAL!

I thought she was amazing! But who else wanted to smack Piers when he told her that she was great but to change everything about the way she looked?????? What the #$%# kind of thing is that to say to a little girl? What a jackass. She looked TOTALLY age appropriate. I loved the little white shoes!
This little girl sang her heart out and did it with style, but it wasn't enough. She should have layered on the makeup, teased up the hair, and barfed her way into sparkly lycra cat suit. This is what we are telling her right? That her talent and sheer guts to perform in this venue are not enough. We want our 11 year olds tarted up a bit, huh?
She was perfect the way she was. Love the shoes, love the side pony, love the 11 year old girl dress. I hope her parents have some sense and ignore the horrible advice from a British nobody.

Does Piers have girls? What a crappy thing to say to a child, "Hey great voice, now just change everything else about you." Talk about patting her on the back with one hand and smacking her in the face with the other. What a jerk.
She looked adorable and completely age appropriate. I cheered for her little white shoes! I will be so disappointed if her parents turn her out for the next round. Regardless of what they sound like, kids should look like kids. Piers should apologize to her on camera to her and all the other young girls with media created image issues.

I thought that what that non-Hasselhoff judge said to the little girl with the big voice about changing her dress, her hair and her shoes, was sooooooo mean. What would he suggest? A Snow White outfit, perhaps? I thought, and I think the por kid did too, was that he was going to totally trash her act. Couldn't he start out with something nice to say? After all, she was the best talent.

It's her all the way, I'm from NJ and she is from the Philadelphia area. She has sang for a local amateur sports team. She does the national anthem and sings during the intermission. She is for real, I can vouch for that.

She was one of the best performers I have seen in a while. She could have given some of the American Idol people a run for their money.
I am just disturbed at Piers' comments about her appearance. She was dressed totally appropriately for a child. Her voice and sheer nerve to perform at that level were what set her apart. His snarky comments about her shoes were just crappy. In a world where girls are killing themselves to look like the moron women the media forces on them, it is a shame that he couldn't have just said "Good job" and left it at that.
I hope she returns in those cute little white shoes!

This girl sings at our local (Philadephia area) amatuer hockey teams games. She does the national anthem and then sings a song during the intermission. She does this all through a sub par sound/P.A. system and I can't begin to describe the look on the crowd and visiting teams faces when she belts out whatever she is singing. She does it for free and just enjoys being part of the event and contributing to the community. It's such a minor thing compared to America's Got Talent, but I think I speak on behalf of the team when I say we are very proud of her! She is the real deal! Best wishes from Growl Hockey Bianca! Don't forget the little guys!!! :-)

Hey! Bianca didn't do those hockey games, I did!
So step off, toots. I sang those songs, I belted out those lyrics, I PUT MY HEART AND SOUL OUT ON THAT STAGE.

I think it was something like "I'm through" because that is what I thought she said at the beginning but since the chorus of a song is usually the title it might be "Your gonna love me"...

I couldn't agree more with teela's comment. What does that judge want Bianca to be, another JeanBenet Ramsey? Bianca Ryan is the greatest kid singer I've ever heard. Gave me goosebumps. And she doesn't need to dress like a hooker to showcase her talent. Shame on Piers.

I can't BELIEVE that some people on this board didn't like that little girl singer. She's unbelievable. Absolutely something going on with her. That's talent. She won't NEED a million bucks by the end of the show. She'll already have a CD and I'll have a copy of it!

Ok, pin heads.....she is singing Jennifer Holliday, the song is 'and I am telling you' and she NAILED it!
This is not snoop dog, nor is it twang. It is from a musical. I'll bet Ms. Holliday herself was impressed with this kid.
I'll be you guys think Pavarotti is just screaming too.

She sang for real. Bianca goes to my daughter's school, and I've seen her in the schools talent shows and in the school play.
That girl gives me goosebumps everytime I hear her sing.
Also her brother Shawn made it throught to the next round. They didn't show him on TV last night, but at the end of the show they gave the names of other people who made it to the next round, and they said his name.
He as good as she is.
Go Bianca and Shawn you guys ROCK

I don't think anyone will debate that the little girl, in the links you posted, can sing. She's a beautiful singer, however, this is America's Got Talent forum and the child who performed was Bianca Ryan so the focus should be on Bianca Ryan.
Bianca blew me away last night. She totally moved me to tears. Unbelieveable talent! I can't wait to see more. =)

I agree...Piers should have just said.."Great Job", and kept the rest of his comments to himself. I felt so sorry for her, did you see her look down at her little white shoes, when he said that? It made me want to cry. My 14 year old and I said..."AWWWWWW", at the same time. What if that was the ONLY thing that she had to wear? What Piers said was just MEAN!
