Why were ALL of the videos on the website (even those of the poor acts that made it through but were not aired!) and now we just have 'featured' videos??? It's not right for NBC to stack the deck for one group or another by giving some of the acts more exposure than the rest. I think it is really unfair. I wanted to watch the auditions for everyone so that when I get to where I can vote, I know what they did before I saw them for the first time in the 2nd round. And really, did we need all the extra time on air with the big guy with the wings? Perhaps they could have made it a fair competition by making sure the tv audience could see everyone they put through - but for now, I think they should be forced to make all the footage of the contestants that did make it up on the site for all to see.

Great Post and i totally agree with you. Everybody who made it through should have the same public exposure.

Good point... I saw week two performances on line for about a day and a half. Now the only performances shown in the video section are from week one. NBC please share the acts with everyone.

Putting one contestant's face (Bianca) on the NBC homepage is not a good practice for a show that wants to be a fair competition.
I guess fairness is not a concern for NBC. Seems like they already know who they want to win.
What a shame.

If you're that easily swayed, and can't judge the talent on its own merit, perhaps you shouldn't vote. Maybe I misunderstand your concern: Perhaps you're afraid other viewers aren't intelligent enough to form an opinon, regardless of the amount of exposure.
In any event, I feel it's rather irrelevant who actually wins the million dollar prize. Several of the acts we've seen have generated enthusiasm on a nationwide basis. Therefore, any act that is truly in contention will undoubtedly be exposed to million dollar opportunities!
What does it matter if Dick Viewer likes acrobatics, but Jane Viewer likes music? My husband likes apples, but I like oranges. How could you possible determine which is better? It doesn't matter: They're both a 'hit'!
The network's job is to keep you entertained, so you'll continue to watch. The entire point of the show is to generate advertising revenues. (Broadcasting is a business, remember)? Advertisers won't buy airtime if nobody is watching. National exposure of the talent to scouts and promoters is a consequential benefit to the performers that the network couldn't care any less about. It does mean, however, that anyone in contention for the top honor but doesn't win, will still benefit from the exposure. If they're truly talented, and get any airtime at all, someone (who can make a difference) will see. That's worth a million, in itself.
For me, I'm just enjoying the variety of talent. Who should win? The act that gets the most votes, I should think. Who's the best? That's like asking, "Who was better: Longfellow or Rockefeller"? Apples and oranges, yo . . . apples and oranges.

ChinaGirl,
The point isn't who's the best or who will win, the point is that the Network put people through and never aired their audition. Then for a day, the video's were on the site, and then they were gone. IF in fact this is a true competition, there should be rules and yes, there should be equal exposure so the voting public can see them. It's only right. And yes, the exposure is worth a million - but what about the poor talented contestents who were promised that exposure and then never got it? Just my two-cents.
