In case everyone is going like
, I am writting this thread because I am curious to know if anyone else has heard about another talent show that NBC is working on! This new contest, World Vision - An American Anthem, is the American version of the Eurovision Song Contest...a show that has been going on in Europe for over 50 years! Basically, 50 states are going to be choosing a representative (singer or band) through a state final, and at the end all the winners will participate in a grand finale to determine the big winner! This winner will be decided by public voting, where a state cannot vote for it's own representative. We will probably be watching each state's pre-selection shows during the season, until we have every entry for the big finale!!Apparently, a 1 million dollar recording contract is at stake...
I am wondering what you guys think about this new show, because to me it sounds like a very exciting idea!! Eurovision itself is a very extravagant show, with different styles of music blended all in one big night of fun! I am hoping World Vision AAA can do the same, and maybe better!!
