Speaking of retainers, I think one of the reasons I started watching/liking LN is because one of the first times I saw it (as a junior highschooler), I was wearing a headgear thing just like Stacy Richter!! Conan brings us nerds together so well.


And my avatar is from the night Conan announced he'd be taking over the Tonight Show in 2009. He was questioning whether the pomp will work at 11:30. (Of course it will - we wouldn't have it any other way, right? )

As we all know, Conan's pomp is quite temperamental due to Conan's hot Irish temper and he may have to use a whip and a chair to bring it under submission when 2009 rolls around. Are you a "Fawlty Towers" fan? If so, do you remember Basil thrashing his car with a tree branch when it wouldn't start, saying, "I warned you, time and time again" -- let's hope it doesn't get to that with Conan's pomp.
You didn't see the explosion and demolition of Google Central when they typed the word 'Google' into Gooooooogle's search engine? You have to take your hat off to whoever came up with that one.

Conan's pomp will never die, and no NBC exec can make it die either, if they know what's good for them (it's one of his foremost trademarks after all) so... I really think the pomp has a nice long life ahead of it.

I did see that google sketch, which prompted a bunch of LN nerds to google google as well. But I wanted to clarify where the avatar is from for anyone who missed the episode when Conan made the "announcement".
