This morning I happened to notice that David Denman had posted a new blog on his myspace page. There are no spoilers, don't worry, but it's amusing how different the actor is from the character -- hard to imagine Roy going on about his travels in Europe.

Roy's page.

First it was Dwight saying that big changes were happening at DunderMifflin and now Kevin is!
What is going on here??! Can't wait for season the third. Thanks for posting.

I love how he weaves in and out of reality, and the bit about sunscreen at the end made me chuckle in irony... times they are changing

I noticed Angela Martin's Myspace page had a brief July 24 update:
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...1&MyToken=2She mentioned Jenna was returning to set the 25th and on her way back from a movie. That's probably why she couldn't make it to the Critics awards show Sunday. It scares me I know all these things, that's only because there is such great, detailed fan site support for the show.

Anybody notice any other blog updates from the set?

Hey thanks for the heads up. It so exciting to think they are back filming. That means it won't be too much longer until we'll know what's going on with JAM. Can't hardly wait!!

Just knowing they are shooting makes me happy. I can't wait till season 3. That is awesome that they won 2 TCAs. Are those "hard" awards to win, anyone know?

Finally, new office MySpace blogs. Jenna about her new movie "Quebec", Kevin on the awards & being Kevin, Angela about being back. Short, but sweet. Also, Roy posted a couple weeks ago about vacation. Bad new is they are having internet trouble on the Office set, so blogs may not be active for a while.

No problemo.

I love reading the cast blogs. Even though I am subscribed to only 2 of them, I think they are just great. It will be cool to see what they have to say about the first episode of S03 right before/after it airs.
CAN'T WAIT!

David Denman has changed the About Me portion of his myspace since the premiere.
"I work in the warehouse at Dunder Mifflin Paper Company in Scranton, PA. I had been dating my fiance Pam since highschool... She really wanted to get married so we set a date for last June... but she dump me. Don't know what to do to get her back, but I'm gonna give it a shot. That's about it. "
I think it is sufficient to say that he doesnt know about Jim, or the kiss, so what do you think will happen when he finds out? Will it lead to violence?
Me personally, i think that he will go to kick the crap out of Jim, but he will catch himself.

Roy will find out about the kiss and everythin leading up to it when the documentary airs. Then he will realize that Pam was really two-timing him all along (at least in her heart) and then he won't want her back.
I hope that Pam would have called off the wedding, but we had a thread "did you marry your Roy" and a lot of people did and regretted it.

I don't think Roy knows about the kiss. I think the second he finds out he is going to go after Jim. He will see this as the "change" that led Pam to break up with him. I don't know if Roy has figured out why Pam called of the wedding or not. I think he will blame the break up on Jim.
Do you guys think that Pam would have gone through with the wedding if Jim was never in the picture? I don't know if she would have or not.

God love Officionada! The wave of newbies continues, and there is no end in sight. lol. I think I figured out why newbies keep popping up on Thursday nights, NBC advertises this board at the end of each episode, I always miss that since I've already left the tv to get to my computer.
and its not a bad thing, besides the repetitive duplicate posts...lol...but it's ok, we've all done it at one time or another.

Just read it and it's very interesting. Since there wasn't a new episode this week, it was dedicated to the crew, the people who keep the show going and make it what it is. Sure, the actors are great, but where would they act if they didn't have a set? And how would we hear them if they didn't have mics? And how would we see it if it weren't for the camera guys?
Woo hoo for the crew!

Bigger and better things
I'm posting this blog now, so Friday morning no one would be surprised at the absence of my regular behind the scenes report. As of the first of the year, I quit my job at, "The Office," to return to my previous position set decorating for commercials. When I took the job on the show, I was going through a drastic change in my contacts in commercials, and had to move on to television in order to keep my finances steady. This required starting at the bottom of the TV prop world for about a year. I quickly worked my way through a number of canceled series and gained a great reputation around town up to the point where I was offered an assistant job on, "The Office", so I took it. During the break, I went back into commercials and found I could re-enter that world back at my previous status and pay rate (which is roughly double) so I had to leave the show based on the fact that the money was better, I now have more time to devote to producing my own projects and being with my family, (I actually can take my son and daughter to school again) and I'm much happier working in the Art Department as a key, rather than in props as an assistant. Besides this Sunday's Fedex Super Bowl spot, I've got to work on a great spot for theaters directed by Forest Whitaker, and several other high end commercial projects since leaving the show. I met a lot of great people on the show, and am confident saying that I have now worked with some of the best comedic writers, directors, and actors out there today. I have to thank Kate, Jenna and Angela for supporting my blog. Most of all Kate for starting the whole thing. I will still be blogging about what I'm up to (in case anyone is still interested) and hope everyone that has read the blogs over the last six months has learned a little more about television and the reality of the work environment. I may go back and day play on the show if they need someone so I will blog any episode I happen to work on. Yes, I will miss the award parties and hanging out on set with all the great people in the cast, playing guitar with Creed, working with all the food and teas, and party stuff with Jenna and Angela, listening to Rain and John joking around, watching Steve come up with great bits every week, and hanging out with my good friends Kate, Leslie, and Oscar - who by the way I used to wait tables with - but it's time for me to get back to what I came to LA to do: Write and direct screenplays. The reason why my contacts disappeared in commercials was because I was very close to writing/directing/producing a TV series which fell through at the last moment. I let my work ethic slip and paid the price. I won't make that mistake again. Thanks to everyone for reading the blog, the myspace Dundie, all the support from, Tanster, Gary, Sarah , Lori, Claudia, Laura, and Maggie, and all the other women on my space who would love to have John Krasinski's cell phone number like I do. Decisions like this always remind me of one of my favorite quotes, "the only thing you can count on is change." It will be good to be a fan again and I come away from the experience knowing that I worked on a show where (as they said in "Camelot') for one "brief shining moment", television got it right. Till the next big thing, John
