Full Version: Hoopalicious vs Snow White Stripper
NBC > Reality > America's Got Talent

For the past 2 weeks people have been complaining left and right about the morality of the Snow White stripper, yet tonight we have Hoopalicious, which I thought was far more revealing and erotic an act, and no one says a bad word about her. Oh what a hypocritical world we live in.

By the way, I liked them both.

Also, the woman in the Quick Change act does a really good hula hoop act too.

They didn't complain because Hoopalicious's audition wasn't aired, so tonight was the first time people saw her on TV. There were a bunch of people who made it to the second round but weren't featured on the first three shows.

Also, I think that the Snow White stripper was offensive to so many people because she took a fairytale heroine (who appeals to children) and eroticized it. I don't understand why they voted her through, stripping is not a talent or art IMHO. Hoopalicious obviously has training in dance -- I wasn't crazy about her outfit, but her performance was skilled and artistic.

Although many like to use the words synonimously, there is a difference between a dancer and a stripper.

While I personally did not care for either Snow White stripper or Hoopalicious, I am surprised that people aren't complaining about the way Hoopalicious was dressed. I even told my dad when she was on that people were going to end up complaining about her outfit.

I know she wasn't on Tv until tonight, but when people want to complain they usually do so pretty quick. I was expecting at least one nasty post.

they were both boring. Snow White was wack. why did she strip? what she needed to do was go to sin city if stripping is her best talent. she just wanted to be on t.v. and hoopalicious was better than snow white. atleast hoopalicious actually has a talent. snow white>i don't know what the **** she was thinking when she thought about stripping in America's Got Talent. she needs to go home and stay there. that was not a talent.

You know how I felt about Snow White(did I post enough on that--lol)--I didn't see Hoopalicious, had to miss last 30 minutes of show last week so I have never seen her perform or I probably would have, if she was comparable to Snow White.

Two insignificant acts really don't deserve the attention, that's why. Most have them on ignore in their mind. The Brit judge had his eyeballs pop out and no bad comments. They were not kids, that's why. The two men behaved like kids over some skin being shown. Called "LOVE DEPRAVATION"

Good Point--Maine Attraction--I thought the 2 male judges acted like children themselves, if there were 2 females, she never would have gone through.

BOTH acts are complete bullocks!!!!

Just more she-devils trying to land a mate.

This show has really turned into utter crap.

Simon! tsk tsk

There is a huge difference. That stripper didn't have talent. I mean, anyone could do that. Hoopalicious, on the other hand, was good at hoop dancing. That was real talent.

Thanks Rich. I hope they know how stupid they looked behaving like that. For two men that have supposedly been around you would think they would have more class and shown it just to set a precedent. How ridiculous. Darn fools! rolleyes.gif

Honestly the snow white stripper couldn't really strip and honestly she shouldn't have been voted through...and as for hoopalisious...well she was better than the stripper but not good enough to win the show....her performance was a bit boring

I didn't know until I started reading the boards that she was supposed to be Snow White. I thought it was all she could find in the way of fancy clothes at the local salvation army. Chalk it up to my underprivileged childhood (Disney who?) Hoopy was boring, except for the suspense of a possible "wardrobe failure". What's with all the hoops? Didn't that go out in the 50's? Is anybody doing anything with Slinkies? Frisbies? Silly Putty? (Just imagine what Leonid could do with a Slinky ohmy.gif)
