Full Version: JUDGES NEED TO HOLD BACK ON ADVICE
NBC > Reality > America's Got Talent

So far, I have not seen anything good come from the judges offering their advice. They have only confused matters for the perfomers.

As in Corina Brouder, she was asked to step out of her "so-called" style box...something they should NOT suggest the performers do. It also backfired on the dog act. It's confusing and detrimental to someone who feels they need to take that advice but already has their own style down.

I think much of the 'bad' advice comes from Piers. He interferes with the purity of the performers' originality by doing so.

I really feel for the dog act. Piers was not fair to this guy who goes about rescuing dogs and trains them. He acted as if this guy was committing animal cruelty. Piers, you are cute, but the real cruelty was in your insinuations toward someone who took your advice and lost out. At least his heart was in the right place.

I agree with some of the advice--I posted last night on another thread that Piers seems too concerned with the artists attire other than their talent. As for the dog guy, I don't think he was cruel to the dogs, as Piers said, but I didn't enjoy his act as much as the first time. Would be interesting to know what he and the others did privately for the judges that sent them through.

That first line didn't come out just right--I agree with the first post by Coolhen that the judges didn't give the best advice--clarity--sorry!
