Full Version: How do you think Bianca Ryan will place in the end?

smile.gif Most people I have talked to about the show really think that Bianca will win. I know it's too soon really to have a good opinion. Too bad there can't be more than one winner but rules are rules. Think of the millions our talented Americans are hauling in for that show! Just have to sit back, enjoy and wait. I have more than one favorite at this time. We will see how they all hold up. Enjoy the show and see who gets better each time make it fun and interesting. That's really what it's all about. wink.gif cool.gif

I think it is too early to tell who will be the winner.

Some of the acts this week were weak and who knows what the next couple of weeks will prove. Only time will tell.. wink.gif

I agree, there may be some surprises in store. I had high hopes for Corina but I think she blew it with her song Wednesday night. Not that it was a bad song, it just wasn't what I expected from her.

How will Bianca place?

To answer that question, we need to know how NBC will choose the winner once they get to the group of Finalists.

Will they simply have all 8 perform and America votes? Or will they drag it out over many weeks and have America vote out someone each week?

I believe the format of the show and what NBC/producers want from the show favors (1) a kid and (2) a singer.

I believe Taylor and Bianca will finish in the top 3.

I don't think The Millers will fare that well when they're going up against 7 other serious acts.

Bianca could still crash and burn in the semi-finals like the 14 year old Alexis did. Alexis was loved by the judges in the 1st round and got a very mediocre response in the semi-finals.

So far we've heard Bianca perform 1 song. What does she have for us in the semi-finals? Will she follow in Taylor's footsteps and take her performance up a notch? Or will she follow in Alexis' footsteps and fall flat?

I expect that Bianca will move onto the Finals barring a disaster in the semi-finals. The "she's a kid" will bring her votes the others don't have a chance to receive.

One thing's for sure, THE JUDGES SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO COMMENT once it is turned over to the public's voting! I believe what they say absolutely sways people's voting decisions, just as in Idol. We don't need has been actors and such putting their 2 cents in.

It has happened too many times on Idol, someone who was consistently on top, then Simon says "you need to start packing your bags" then all of a sudden they wound up in the bottom 3.

JUDGES ON AGT, let America vote and stay out of it!

Can't we go one week without posting a new thread about Bianca Ryan? She wasn't wasn't even on this past episode!

If she sings another tune that's the same genre, I would like to see the hypocritical judges call her one-note. The singers can all do pretty much the same song every week and it'll be fine, but everytime another act did something similar to their previous performance, they were called one-note. There's a double-standard for singers and if you want to call one type of repeat "one-note" then I think you should call all repeat acts "one-note".

She has talent, I won't deny that, but I want to see the same standards applied all-around.

It more or less depends on what she's paired up against. I'm starting to think Taylor Ware might've won because, with the Millers passed by the judges, she was the only child act left. When it comes to child acts, there are two kinds of people: People that naturally love them, and people that naturally resent them.

Bianca Ray, I would imagine still has a good chance at advancing to the finals, but with two young acts already awaiting her in the finals, I don't think her chances of winning are that good.

This young lady, Bianca Ryan has a voice that comes along only once. She has no competition at all. I have been involved in music for over 45 years and can say that i have NEVER ever heard such a set of vocal pipes like that on a 10 year old in my life. Sure there are other great singers, B. Streisand, Whitney (in her prime) Houston, M. Carey et al.

But as for sheer natural stage presence, outstanding emotional exchange, range and vocal maturity, this young girl at 10 is far and above anything I have ever heard. At 10 this girl can outsing and hold her best with any singer in the world, male or female. Watch her closely, she will rise to musical greatness. She has been given a gift from God unlike few of us have ever seen or heard.

You ask will she win?........dear readers, she has already won our hearts, don't you agree?

As for NBC, they have no choice here, by legal contract, they have to continue with the show until it's conclusion but it was over when Bianca Ryan sang the last note. It has already been decided. Do not think for a moment that the NBC exec's didn't gasp when they first saw that video. The phones haven't stopped ringing on this. Bianca Ryan's family has had to shut down the website they had on Miss Ryan. Multi million dollar contract offers are pouring in from all across the planet. Suffice it to say (from a very reliable source), that Miss Ryan's impact is so large here that NBC really does not know what to do with her.

I am not a great believer in destiny but here i have to concede. A gift like hers has to be destined for greatness. Why else would God give her such a gift. Sometimes rare events happen if life that have no clear explanation. ........"and the winna is.................BIANCA RYAN."[b]

Well, I know one thing for sure: NBC sure wants her to win. In the commercials I have seen for this upcoming episode, AGT promotes her and only her. She is getting more exposure than any other contestant on AGT and it seems NBC is really pushing her.

I think she will place 1st or 2nd because as someone pointed out, the two types of acts that will get the most votes are child acts and singing acts, and she's both.

Out of the 4 in the Finals so far, I most like Realis and The Millers, although I like the Millers the most. The guy in Realis looks a bit awkward in their act. He seems very stiff and rigid while the woman is very fluid in her movements. Makes a weird contrast.

Bianca should do well, will she win? I certainly hope so but she will have to bring it each and every time. That first time we heard her she was awesome, but she still needs to hone her skills. She has the potential of having a great career. She definately has a chance of winning the money. It is too early to tell, I mean there are acts that have not even made it through to the semi's. Rest assured it will get tougher as it goes along.

I think Bianca will/should win if this is truly a "talent" contest.

But...we haven't seen all the talent yet, so it's hard to say who should win. She should do well, though!

I like Bianca Ryan, but, I don't think she should win
I'm Guessing if/when she makes it the finals, if its just her and the other 4 contestants, I'll say she'll get 3rd, after Realis and Taylor Ware. I like Taylor Ware because she has "it" and I don't believe Bianca has "it" Sure she can sing, but to me, she doesn't drawww you in like Taylor did in her performances. They are both 11 girl singers, but I think Taylor is more talented. Realis should be in the top right now because they are THE BEST in what they do, period.

Well put.....she is captivating. NBC is baffled and the world will be drawn in..If she doesn't win, the show is rigged. She already has americas vote, and she sang 1 song. (a song most people are not familiar with) IF ( a big IF) she were to sing the national anthem.....I'll guarantee EVERY Sporting franchise will be calling her for her to sing......I'll go out on a limb and say "she you will be singing the national anthem at a major sporting event in the next year".......This "little" step she has taken will have catapulted her career to many millions.

That's it! You have got it!

It's not the destination, it's the journey. What good would the winner be if it weren't for the competition. All #1 has to beat, is #2... and so on, and so on...

I'm sorry for this one... It makes no sense, does it?

(now I'm talking to myself. on a forum. What next?)

I think it depends upon how the contest is oriented once the Finals begin. Is it all 8 perform and America votes or do they go for many weeks and eliminate 1 act each week? On one hand it requires an act to get the most votes. The other way just requires the act to avoid getting the fewest votes. One way the contest is a one-shot deal. The other way requires the act to maintain a consistency over many weeks.

I think if they drag the Finals out over many weeks, eliminating one act each week like "American Idol," we could be watching a trainwreck. With "American Idol," the many weeks are used to explore many different singing styles and showcase the versatility of each singer. For most of the AGT acts, their talent is a niche and if the public has to listen to them for many weeks in succession, they will look repetitive and that will hurt them. Any singing act will have a distinct advantage if the Finals drag out over many weeks.

This is a very good point...nice duckie

We now know that NBC was recruiting talent through agents and such, so I would like to know what city did Bianca audition in and how long did she have to stand in line before she got to audition? Or in the alternative, was she recruited like some of the other semi finalists?

Are you saying she auditioned in New York because she was on the "New York" show? Or do you know for a fact that she was actually standing in line for hours at the New York auditions with everyone else?

So you don't know if she was actually at the open call auditions in New York right? Yes, she was on the "New York" show, but that doesn't mean she was actually at the New York open call auditions.

When we saw her last that WAS her audition. Remember the judges got the chance to press their Xs if they didnt like them. I would imagine there were "producer/researcher" auditions before hand that she would have had to go through. I know the format because we're on the UK version X Factor this year. biggrin.gif

What I'm getting at here is did she actually audition at one of the open calls that were held PRIOR to the TV show, or was SHE CONTACTED AND RECRUITED as was Leonid and some others? They held open call auditions in various cities and supposedly picked from those people the ones that they were flying to California for the "audition" in front of Hoff, Brandi and Piers. But now we are finding out that a lot of these people that were flown to California DID NOT go through the open call process, but were hand picked by NBC through industry friends. And here they are yet again advertising for people to send audition tapes to try to make it look as if they are going to select talent from "Joe Shmo" when behind the scenes they are going through agents to "book" talent for the TV show. Can you spell B-O-G-U-S????
