I wonder if it is significant that Los Angeles produced more semifinalist than the other 2 cities combined. Do you think they overdid it on the first auditions and tried to cut back on the next 2, or does L.A. just have more talent because it's hollywood?

Looking at the final list inspires me to suggest to NBC that next season be broken down into categories:

I think alot of acts came from LA due to the fact that many have posted several of these acts work or have worked in Vegas--just a thought.

I'm still wondering how Leonid got through and the Chicago Matadors didn't

I have a feeling that the reason more from LA got through than the other cities is because it was the first audition and the judges probably didn't know exactly where to set the line. The producers most likely told them to raise the bar a bit to limit the amount of contestants going on the next round.

I just found out I won't be able to watch the show tonight - a devastating storm last night wiped out the Ren Faire where I work (and have my TV) and they aren't allowing anybody on the grounds till further notice. Don't know anybody here that watches.

You don't have a TV at home, yet you have intenet access? Wow, that's odd.

Actually I have 3 TV's at home. The big one doesn't work; one small one only gets the stations like 2-3-4 etc. and where I live it's 16, 22, 28 etc.; the other small one is missing the remote which clips into the TV to permit functions (I think the dog may have eaten it). Some days you just can't win. And before you ask - the one at work (where I usually spend several days mid week) only gets the 2-3-4 range, but that's ok since that is what they have down there. Normally I don't miss TV much, since I don't find a lot of programs I would like to watch on a regular basis. Happened to catch the first AGT broadcast and liked it enough to watch the second.

Thanks. By the way, it's no wonder that Chicago got the least finalists. A lot of those acts were just weird and crazy(Flippy, bird caller, laughing Yogi etc.)

I am just wondering in your list, you have some of the acts as being "eliminated" what do yyou mean by that?

Why are these acts eliminated and how do you know?
