Full Version: This weeks show was a dissapointment...

I certainly hope the third semi leaves us walking away with a sence of talent, yesterday's show had none at all.

The horn guy, he was great "for the big top" all he was missing was fuzzy hair and a big red nose. And Brandi, after bashing those kids so badly, I dout you will ever see them buying any of your music, I know you have to be honest, but you were brutal with these kids who probably looked up to you until last night. Leonid, he made it, I was shocked and actually enjoyed his performance though it was not million dollar material. The piano girl, she has promise, I can see her in about 10 years as a phenom pianist. The asian boy band, well they just do not have waht it takes, they sound like a a karioke verion of n'sync. The finger snapper was good, enjoyed it, but not worth a million bucks. The arebic dance duo good, but too much hieght diferential to take them seriously. The three girls dressed like they were, showed no class. Over all just a bad show that left me thinking, does America really have talent?

Judges did not vote yesterday because there really was no one worht voting for. They do have a point that it is not American Idol and you have to send through a variety of acts. Though no votes through yet and really no one deserves to move on from yesterday, my predictions on who will move on are:

Finger Snapper and Asian N'Sync

I thought that Brandi was the only realistic judge, and thanks to her for being honest. Which the guys had been. I thought that the two older guys drooling over the teen girls dressed as hookers to be the level of the entire show. I made the kids stop watching for a while. NBC has REALLY missed on this one.
The judges were obviously prompted to NOT give a vote, which was apparent through the typical BAD ACTING of Mr Hassalhoff! Your votes are now wasted on the act (ALREADY stated will not be the BEST) which the judges are TOLD to put through. America's GOT talent, too bad we are not going to see it in the final rounds!

I agree. I thought last night was really lacking in talent. It doesn't seem fair that two from last night will move on when those acts that REALLY had talent last week won't. Like All That!! They could have beat-out ANY talent from last night.

You are correct. My kids and I would buy a ticket for "All That" in a minute. Are we REALLY going to drive anywhere to see someone Yodel? Let's be realistic. We loved the kids acts. They have spirit, but lack the refined talent to be a million dollar talent. Sugar and Spice wasted someone else's chance at a million.

What the...? Okay, In Competitive Sports Acro, all the groups have height difference. The flyer is small/short, and the Thrower is bigger/taller. If you look at Mixed Pair and the Male and Female Groups, all of them follow this "rule." It wouldn't make sense to try to throw people your same height into the air and attempt a double front, thats just crazyness!

Below is Realis - I think

Riverdance Revisited? lol, anyway, I wouldn't think anybody would bye tickets to see All That, if it was just themselves. If they were dancing with a live band at like a concert, that would be different.

Go see All That! live. TV doesn't do their act justice. They are awesome to watch live. It'd probably be cool to see them with a band, too (I love to watch them dance no matter what), but they don't need any backup on the stage.

maybe, but we have seen Riverdance, and groups like "Stomp" so I guess it is a matter of taste.

I would like to see them live, since we only got to see the audience or their faces. When will they get the idea that the VIEWERS might like to see some of the act as well?

I agree that this week's performances were unexpectedly much less fun and much more lacking in talent than any of the shows before. I almost wish the losers from other shows could come back on - i hope there will be actual talent in future weeks or we may have to sit through a final featuring a little girl yodeler (albeit cute) face off "Bobby Badfingers" (albeit good at what he does) - what could be any more unentertaining or bizarre?

I tevo'ed last nights show. Took me less than a half hour to wtch a 2 hour program. The act's all sucked. Regis better go back to ABC. The judges should run for there life. Think this is it for me. NBC has another looser on its hands. dry.gif
